Don’t feel bad about buying, we all do it! I have bought so many dies for making cards for specific ppl! I’ve done that many times. I made a beautiful card for my son and fiancés shower, spent tons of time and love on it and then when I saw her theme was lemons I had to order lemon dies because the fruit set I bought years ago from Altenew wasn’t what I thought. Never used btw! I’m dying to go thru my supplies and get rid of half!

Thank you so much for this very helpful hint!!! I just got my stamp and stencil tool and am waiting patiently for the stamp and spin tool to get back in stock. I have some very large die sets that I didn't realize would come in so handy. I used them to cut out the centers of the acetate sheets! I did some for squares, rectangles and circles so far. I am also using them for the stenciling as well as stamping. I have cut my cardstock to fit inside the acetate with about a 1/4 inch border so the stencil can stick to the sticky paper. I'm using non-Sizzix stencils with this method since I don't have any of the Sizzix ones. Looking forward to more of your videos using these tools!

Hi Marion. I purchased the 9 x 12 “ super sticky mat from Altenew so I don’t have to use sticky matts at all. It’s about 40 US dollars. I thought it was worth it. BUT I am not sure if it works with the new round circle thing. Just a suggestion. You are so good to watch I get great ideas from you. You always keep it real for us at home that aren’t doing this as a living but love the fun of creating. Thank you!!!!

I'm using a transparent light tack mat from another company in the platform. As it's only sticky on one side, I'm just sticking it to the Sizzix sticky grid paper directly in the middle. The life of the paper is way too short. I drew A2 lines in portrait and landscape on the paper and the sticky mat has a one inch grid so I kind of have three grids in one. The transparent mat doesn't last forever but I've had one in my stamping platform for a year or so and it's still working great. Just gently clean with a baby wipe.

I love CP inks but my hands are so arthritic that I constantly drop them. I really don't like the design of the pad itself. It's too hard to hold. The oval shape is OK but I think the fact that it is so shallow and the lip around the pad leaves very little for error. :(

Hi Marion, love your shows and sense of humour. I watched your video until the point of you changing the sticky sheet, and then an idea came to mind. Instead of always replacing the sticky sheet, Sizzix should embedd lines onto the area where one places the sticky sheet with a clear plastic over also embedded into the stamp tool. Sizzix can then come up with an idea of figuring out how you can keep the cardstock in place so it doesn't move or they need to use your idea of what you did with the acetate. Of that makes any sense. Take care.

Hi Marion! Was watching your new video this morning and was so surprised to hear my name! My husband happened to be in the rm and looked up and said, " She's talking about someone with your name!" LOL Love Your card and so glad my tip worked for you! I was frustrated when Stampin Up took the Stamparatus off the market due to the Misti lawsuit because I felt it was a different and more flexible tool than the Misti. With the removable top, like the Sizzex one, you can use it in so many more ways. Have fun playing and I'll have fun watching! 😊

I agree! I have no idea why the Stamparatus was targeted when it is soooo different and versatile in comparison with any other stamping platform. Really annoys me, and there's no way that I'd ever buy any SP products after what they did! Thankfully I have my Stamparatus and it can do everything all these new tools can do, and more!! ❤
