Its Canon, yes, but Nightmare doesn't really love Ccino, its a relationship toxic af and Nightmare only uses Ccino as a battery and nothing more, and sometimes Nightmare Goes to Ccino job to read a book, but thats it, and Ccino really loves him, the man is madly in love with Nightmare, but he is also very sad because Nightmare doesn't give Ccino any love nor even cares If he is ok

@@rinachu7023 Yeah It is, and the worst part is that even if Nightmare loved Ccino back they can't really be together, because If Ccino touches Nightmare he would melt and die in a very painful way because Nightmare's goop is extremely corrosive, so they can't even touch or hug each other, be in love with Nightmare must sucks so bad, because the man actually hates you, uses you, manipulates you and you can't even touch a finger on him or else you will fucking die

i've never seen actual evidence, but as far as i've heard, yes it is! i don't think it's a problem to ship them with anyone else tho??? like PJ also canonically dates and no one seems to give a damn. but anyways, from what i know, it has been stated canon by their creators, but it's a toxic relationship, since it's one sided-love (from Ccino) and nightmare just uses him as a negativity source. they have a really wholesome dynamic if you don't make it toxic tho;

Actually Joku doesn't know what cannon means she said herself that it's only 'cannon' in its own story not in Dreamtale's normal story, in spite of constantly it cannon. In that case, every ship is 'cannon' because every ship has its own story. To her, 'cannon' means "I like it enough to say it's cannon". Also English it not her first language so take her answers on her blog with a grain of salt. Conclusion? It's not cannon in Dreamtale's normal story.

It may be confusing or no by the comments but I am here to say that it is indeed canon. Both creators confirmed it, I can’t find proof which I apologize for but it is canon. It’s canonically toxic but it’s up to wether or not you would like to turn it into something nice. Also- canonically EVERY ship nightmare is in. Is toxic. Yep :’D If you think about Killermare and other ships would be all toxic IF they were canon. But yep Fluffynight is canon ^^
