Well Paul...back in the early 70's I used to go off roading with my FJ. We never went places like you have gone...and never had tires like you do...but we had fun! Rolled mine over 4 times! Man a Fre in Downy Ca. was my repair shop. Of coarse...I never brought it in there...I'd call for parts and they shipped them to me. The old FJ's had all removable parts. Just unbolt and bolt on the new ones. Went through a ton of mirrors. Those were the good ole days. Your FJ is awesome!

Good thing you discovered you had the wrong ball early. But I actually use the rear jacks on my trailer to reduce unnecessary stress on the hitch assembly, truck and in particular the ball clamp on the trailer. Also seen rear tires on the truck lifted off the ground. And that gets interesting if parked on a hill!

That's one nice trail in that canyon, luckily it was significantly dryer than when Robby went up it and the Broncstar broke and he severely damaged the big SxS.

One of the worst killers ascending and descending is wheel hop caused by not having the right shocks installed. At 15:40ish, when the front right tire started to hop , significant traction was lost causing the FAB Rig to role back. I seriously hate tire hop😡

Had that happen with a U-Haul trailer and a UTV once. Just barely bumped my SUV with the tongue. I ended up pulled away from the trailer before I backed the UTV off and let it down.

These guys are all stand-up but there are far to many wheelers out there who seem to have a selective vision problem and cant see no trespassing signs.
