I was diagnosed with invasive ductial carcinoma on May 7th 2024. I just had a lumpectomy June 5th. I'm waiting on the pathology report to see if it has spread. Please pray for me and I will definitely pray for you. I'm 59 and I can't imagine how hard this is for you at your age with your young children. 🩷🙏🩷

I’m 36 and was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma ER/PR negative Her 2 positive stage 2 on May 10th 2024. It has spread to my lymph nodes. I had my first round of TCHP on June 12th 2024, second one July 3rd 2024. The plan is 6 rounds and then a double mastectomy, recover and more rounds. My mom passed away march 23rd 2023 from a different type of breast cancer at 54. She didn’t have the gene mutation and I don’t either. Does anyone else have my kind of breast cancer?

I was diagnosed on March 19, had surgery on April 19, waited anxiously for results, they got all the cancer and tested 11 lymph nodes, all clear….they sent my tumour off to California to be tested on the likelihood of recurrence within 10 years, had to wait another 4 weeks for those results to decide whether or not I would need chemotherapy, my results were good, low expectation of recurrence. I am now receiving radiation treatment and will starting hormone blockers soon. It is a scary ride.

I'm a Mama in SC and a Nurse who luckily has not had cancer. But being a Mama, I can see the fight and fire in your commitment to beat this. As a nurse I just feel compassion for you and your family and protective of you. Like I don't work oncology but I wished I did just so I could be a constant support to you. The thing that is so great is that you know who your heavenly father is and that he bows to nothing, including cancer. There nothing he can't do!! My prayers for you are for complete and total healing!❤🙏🏻

Hi Rebecca, oh my you have been through so much already just trying to get a clear diagnosis. I am so sorry you had to go through that it must have felt like you were banging your head against a brick wall. I pray that your situation was not a regular occurrence as someone maybe not as strong as you might not have been able to advocate for themselves. Thankfully you now have a clear picture of what’s going on and a treatment plan. I was diagnosed in October 2020 with HER2 Positive Invaisve ductal carcinoma with DCIS Mine was stage 1 grade 3 however any diagnosis of cancer is very scary. I had 6 months of chemotherapy, Herceptin and perjeta, a lumpectomy and radiotherapy followed by a further 9 months of Herceptin injections. I have to say I had very few side effects but unfortunately was left with some peripheral neuropathy. I found that only focusing on one day at a time and not thinking to far ahead got me through, I also found meditation very effective if I was feeling anxious. Sending prayers and positive healing vibes your way …. You got this! 🩷

I'm so sorry this has been your experience. All through my breast cancer, from diagnosis through treatment, EVERYONE had my interests and comfort at the forefront of their minds. That is what YOU should be able to expect also. Again, I'm so sorry.

I’m 51 and I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma stage 2a grade 2 triple positive and I’m scheduled to start chemo in one week then surgery. At the beginning we thought was stage 1 but after the MRI the size of my tumor is 2.8 centimeters which makes it stage 2a is still localized but still scary. May God help you heal you soon. I know how scary this is. For women who do not has cancer, please exercise 5 times per week, sleep 7 hours, manage stress and eat healthy. This low the risk of getting this disease.

34:00 shocked and disgusted how you’re being treated. Does not compare at ALL to anything I experienced and you should not. Prayers🙏🏻 I’ve been clear seven years after a Partial and radiation and I take anastrozole still.

Hi Rebecca, I just came across your channel. I don’t have breast cancer. But I listened to your story. I am so sorry for what you have gone through so far. And your diagnosis. You will be in my prayers. God will be with you every moment of every day and night. Psalm 91. 🙏

I am sorry and hoping all goes well with your treatment although my daughter in law, who is also HER 2 positive, found chemo horrific. On the second week she started to improve until 3 weeks later when she had the 2nd chemo. I'm in south africa and she is in Denmark. She now has neuropathy but alistair says she may improve later. Chemo can affect the heart and lungs . She is your age so it helps to be young with a strong heart etc. The initial reaction of all your medics was atrocious. Lindsay's treatment was swift. She didn't wait long for a biopsy. I was drawn to your detailed frank account and you showed your emotions and concern without putting on a false happy face. I will be following you during the process. 🙏

Wow, I can’t believe all you had to go through just to get the necessary tests you needed. You are so young, I am so sorry! I am praying for you, you keep advocating for yourself! 🙏❤️✝️ do you have any family history of breast cancer in your family? Your story is so concerning that they just seemed to blow you off. You deserved to be validated!

I have IDC. After biopsy. I’m grade 2, estrogen +, progesterone +, HER2 -. I’m located in Delaware. Dr said I won’t get a stage until after surgery. Do you know why that is?

I'm so confused. My identical twin sister was diagnosed with HER2+ breast cancer and I was told to be vigilant. She got it early and is in remission. But all the literature suggests that this is not something to be lax about. I live in Australia, so things may be different here.
@christinefiedor35183 ай бұрын
I live in Australia too. Now retired , I have a nursing background in both paediatrics and general. Paediatrics was my first training. It’s actually well known that if one twin gets a cancer then the other twin is at risk especially if hey are identical as they have very similar DNA. I’m from the uk originally but the health system out here is excellent. I would talk to your gp about your confusion who can direct you to a specialist in this area. There is no need to suffer and worry in silence. I wish you and your sister well ❤

@@christinefiedor3518 Thanks Christine. My twin was diagnosed with MS when we were in our 20s and she was put on immunosuppressant medication, which she was on for over 15 years. We are now 54 years old. But when she got HER2+ breast cancer we were 51 years old. So it was just out side of the genetic testing age in Australia. I think it's best that I pay for a genetic test to be informed. Thank you for your response.
@christinefiedor35183 ай бұрын
@@24JJ821 no worries. I agree that paying for test would be the best option and put your mind at rest. Unfortunately health budgets whether public or private don’t have unlimited funds. I wish they did. Good luck anyway.
