Advice on the weight of the bag. Don’t carry a bigger bag for everyday. Bigger bags are for when you need to essential items; but aren’t interacting with the purse much. Like: work, visiting a friend, traveling with long wait times. When you’re interacting with the bag- smaller bags are needed. That’s when I bust out the nano. Since discovering this, I no longer complain about the bag sizes anymore. I know understand which size goes with what activity I am doing. I have all 5 offered sizes.

I love each bag that you have. I do agree that a zip zips strap connections are awkward. The new designed satchels where zips don’t clear down has a better area as to attach

Nice bags!! I have some similar bags and similar issues. On the ZIP ZIP bag, I add small carabiner "o" rings to the leather piece where the handle hardware feeds and I no longer have the wonky handle issue. The strap no longer attaches to the handle, but instead to a ring that sits behind the handle hardware and in the same leather piece that the handle hardware is in. It only costs a few bucks and requires no tools. Or you can buy a different kind of hardware that requires plyers to pinch the hardware into place. I did that before finding the carabiner o ring option. I have a video on my channel of how to do it and I've done it on Coach & Brahmin bags with the same issue. TFS

So glad Dooney finally started making the zip-zip style satchels with side rings for the shoulder strap, and an outside zip pocket! They DO need to begin making short shoulder straps for all the satchels. Are you listening, Peter Dooney?? Women dont like their bag bouncing around on their thigh! We want to carry it under our arm, somewhere between the arm pit and top of our hip. Please fix this!

I have the Zip Zip Satchel and I hate the way the shoulder strap is SUPPOSED to be attached to the purse. What I do is, rather than clipping the strap to the purse with one clipped in the front ring and the other on the back ring, I clip them BOTH on the BACK rings. This is much better for me, I can easily open the purse and access what is inside. I really wish Peter Dooney would offer the purses with detachable shoulder straps that can be used on other purses.
