My grandfather is very proud. He tells everyone he comes across about his granddaughter. He says I will be president. He has always told me I will be a great woman and I think his belief in me did wonders. You may not have much in life but believing in your kids will go a long way to build their self esteem. Also my grandparents have never made any decision for me they would always advice me do the right thing, and I grew up very independent which was so crucial

When you found out you punished the other girl and then you asked me to follow you to the office. In the office you told me 'I want you to think about your life Brightstar, I will not even punish you but I want you to know I am so disappointed in you. Remember if all these other girls mess up they will go home to their parents, but where will you go to ? You cannot forget where you came from, I want you to know that all this other girls have a chance of making mistakes and they will still be okay, but you know where you are coming from Brightstar, you can never mess up. Ulur grandoarents already took care of you, you cannot burden them with taking care of you when you fail.' Those words shape a lot of my decisions until today.
