Since I got lots of questions: I was still in the break in period, hence the lower shifts. Check the latest videos for full throttle. Thanks and ride safe!

You can shift that quickly without a quick shifter. Don't use the clutch, just roll off the throttle as you shift up. Same for down, just blip the throttle as you push down a gear. Shifting up with this method is super easy, shifting down is a little harder. No clutch needed, and yes its fine for the clutch.

Gotcha! I went for the oem one, works great. A bit jerky unless the throttle is wide open.

Which quick shifter did you install?
@AndresAndreaTV Жыл бұрын
The one that comes from Yamaha. (ordered through them and they also installed it)

i have instaleld mine , but sometimes when i quickshift i can feel it bumping especially in low speeds does yours do that?
@AndresAndreaTV Жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes, unless you have full throttle. No need to worry. The QS is designed for sport riding, full throttle, high RPM despite the technical file where it says above 2k RPM

@@AndresAndreaTV yea when I press on it it changes smoothly but when I’m on lower speeds it jerks so I just wanted to know if that’s supposed to happen. Thank you for the reply my g

This used to happen on my 2021 kawasaki zx6r too. The higher the revs the smoother the quickshifter. At low speeds I would just use the clutch
@AndresAndreaTV11 ай бұрын
@@hellraiserrec19 yup, same here, at lower revs or casual drive, I just use the clutch.

Isnt this the same engine as the slow mt07?
@AndresAndreaTV9 ай бұрын
Not sure since I never had an mt07 however here are the stats I did manage with the R7: 0-100 kmph in 3.7secs 100-200 kmph in 10.4 secs It starts to feel the lack in hp at 160+ kmph put it pulls nonetheless. Otherwise, its an amazing bike for its purpose. If you want higher power go for the R1. 100-200 kmph I think it does in around 4 to 5 seconds, so twice as fast in that range and 200-300 in around 6 seconds...not the case for the R7 since it tops at around 230kmph.

They do share the same CP2 engine, however presumably the MT07 runs a shorter gearing than the R7 to give it some better low end for street riding. They're not made to set the roads ablaze with their speed but they sure do give a good step toward a typical 600/1000 supersport
