@@chad6060 I have, to mixed results as I'm not a challenger tier mid laner. It only takes one bad E to make that playstyle completely fall flat, and then if you commit to pure AP you're stuck very slowly auto'ing down waves most the time. Honestly, if I was playing League right now, I'd probably workshop a hybrid build in some normal games. Something like tear into first item Ravenous into Guinsoo's into pure AP. It wouldn't have the crazy ult damage and burst of a full AP Ez, but I think it would have better burst than AD and better consistency than AP.

@@straco1849First item statik shiv, makes wave clear significantly faster and gives you a little poke against a champion staying behind the minion wave, then AP as normal. It works well with your Q since you can proc it at range and still get some farm, plus it scales with AP.

i started trying this build as well, its really good when there are a lot of squishy champs at the enemy team, but im playing a bit different, i keep ganking early on, if goes well good, if goes bad i can stil recover by split pushing latter on .

you should try maxxing E before Q cause most of the Q cards get missed. E gives attack speed so even if you do get into a Sylas Q the attack speed will let you have a good trade. i think an AD build with TF is so much better and rewarding but seeing new stuff is refreshing.

Am I the only one that thinks that it would be cool if they made his Q be the same colors everytime and have them apply the same effects that the W does (red = aoe, yellow = stun, blue = ap, ), so imagine that the leftmost card of Q is red, the middle one is yellow and the rightmost card is blue .You could like stun with yellow card from W and aim the rightmost card of his Q and it does bonus AP or stun 2 times, once with yellow card from W and then aiming the middle card of Q right after. Or potentially apply stun, aoe and bonus ap to 3 different champs with Q.

Always viewed TF as an outdated champion, who has been powercreeped by all the BS champs of the recent 4-5 years. And seeing one in a game really feeled like that person is grieving. Pekin turned my opinion around and I decided to play this champion this way and it almost reaffirmed my initial though when I ended with 1 win over 12 games.... I kept at it anyways and now I am at 62% over 40 games and I am now addicted. Just have to realize that most most match ups are hard and some are almost unplayable (fizz, yasuo) and you have to just play very conservative until you get to 2 items and prioritize small skirmishes
