Here's some (pretty spoilerless) tips about some of the stuff you asked about: Amethyst - two copper and an amethyst shard. See what you can craft. Berries - No need to bulldoze them bushes, right click to pick the berries. Then they grow back too! Critting - while falling down. That means towards the end of a jump, you do more damage. Copper - mostly building, but some new small stuff. Crafting recipes for the stuff you may find interesting: a stick, a copper, and a feather. Or just 3 copper. Cave biomes - you've seen 2 so far; you're not done. The stuff you haven't seen is rare, and deep (in deepslate layers, that's the stuff you thought looked like bricks.) If you find one, you'll love it. Those lush caves are just pretty, but something new might be swimming around there. And mind your step in those dripstone caves, wouldn't want to fall on one of those. Or let one of them fall on you. Enchanting - Two ways, enchanting table, or villagers. Surround your enchanting table with bookcases for high level stuff, and bring lapis and levels. Alternatively villagers have some magic books to trade. Apply those to stuff in an anvil. Lastly a general tip, check the crafting book every once in a while, you can find a lot of the new recipes there. Anyway, good luck! There's been some really fun changes since 2014 lol

LOL SAME I’ve been playing for over a decade and I’ve never bothered to fight the ender dragon because I never really felt like it 😂😂😂 Tip 1: find a ravine. There are ores EVERYWHERE (though the cave you have now could suffice) Tip 2: You can make an infinite water source by putting two water buckets in opposite corners of a 1 block deep 2x2 hole Tip 3: Right click on the glowing golden berries on the underground vines to collect them without breaking the plant Tip 4: When you go into the nether, wear at least one piece of gold armor. Zombie pigmen have been overhauled and there are things called piglins that you can trade with if youre wearing gold armor Tip 5: You can make an infinite lava source by putting lava above dripstone and a cauldron below it. It’s mega slow tho Tip 6: There are resources in the nether that are even better than diamond now… thats all I’ll say ;3 Tip 7: Stop killing bats. They did nothing to you 😭😭😭

I've also been playing for a decade, but I finally decided to beat the game. The main thing that was stopping me, was that I couldn't find a nether fortress. after I defeated the ender dragon, I went to an end city, got some good loot, an elytra, but somehow managed to die to the shulker attacks. Then I was too slow to get back there, so all of my stuff despawned, I even had the elytra in my inventory, so I lost that too. But I didn't give up, so I found a different end city and got another elytra. although before all of that... I played on a copy of the world, because I had full diamond armor, was boating through the ocean, and then the game crashed. So since I was playing on PS4 bedrock edition, when I loaded into the world, I was at the bottom of the ocean with like three hearts and no bubbles left. So I died, and decided to just use a backup

Hey! Here's a simple(ish) breakdown of the new things you've come across so far! (to my knowledge) Most of the things you've seen so far are from the Caves and Cliffs update, the update that made everything *HUGE* ! • Caves are almost always gigantic, going down to below 0, and _generally_ the deeper you go the better the ore! (Unless you're looking for coal) • Copper has 4 purposes, those being decorative blocks, lightning rods, brushes (for archeology), and spyglasses that let you zoom in on stuff! • The _green_ cave is a Lush Cave, characterized by its beautiful foliage. It's mostly decorative • The _spikey_ cave is a Dripstone cave. Pointed dripstone on its own doesn't damage you, but it *AMPLIFIES* fall damage, and can fall on you. (It also created a way to get infinite lava) • The _black brick-like_ cave is actually just what happens when you reach below level 0, stone being replaced by deepslate. Deepslate functions the same as stone, but it's way more annoying to mine and coal pretty much can't spawn in it. • I can't be sure, but there's now a chance that those lakes you found through the roof of your cave are actually flooded caves. Going into a deeper flooded cave is very risky, but ore tends to spawn more when unexposed to air. • Amethyst geodes are mostly decorative, but the blocks where amethyst crystals grow are important. You can't collect the source blocks, but once their amethyst crystal grows to full size you can mine it and use it for the Spyglass! I hope this helps, and on a personal note, I think that this video is a real _gem_ ! It's true that you're new to so much of this and thus much slower than the modern minecraft player, but I found my self so exited at the feeling of getting to watch someone rediscover this amazing game. I hope you enjoy the rest of the game, and I hope that the rest of the community sees the joy in acompanying you through it!

1.TIP: Use sticks to trade with fletcher Villagers and use the emeralds to buy Diamond armor and tools from upgraded blacksmiths. 2. TIP:Copper is frickin useless. 3.TIP:In the underground plant (lush caves) biome, there is moss which can be bone mealed that makes stone moss too. Because of 1.18 the caves were giant and contained diamonds a little bit too much so they reduced the amount of diamonds that touch air. So bonemealing moss can reveal diamonsds. 4.TIP:Reason the lush caves have light is glow berries that grow on the ceilings. They are edible and bonemealable. I am uptading and adding tips as i watch the video. I wish i knowed you sooner before i watched your ultrakill series and look at me now! Coming early to these vids.

@YuB Heres some information! 1. storage: assuming your playing on the most recent version, putting leather and one string on top in a crafting table makes you a bag, which can hold items until they equal a stack (64) 2. smelting: you can use wood as fuel, and by smelting logs you can get charcoal which does everything that coal does. Also, 9 pieces of coal smelts 70 items, but 1 block (9 pieces) smelts 80. Thats it! i love minecraft and i love your videos, so hopefully you continue these videos :) (also copper is useless except for spyglasses, which aren't to crucial)

This is a mining advice from me: I usually mine by 3 blocks high and 2 blocks wide so you don't bump your head a lot. Also might have a better chance in finding more ores. I usually do this in every world but it could help you to. Also one more thing, press F3 to see your coordinates. It will show x,y,z. You want Y to be at -52 to find diamonds. Hope this helps.

12:42 the plants as you said, that's a biome called the lush caves, it has some cool leaves that grow glow berries that you can eat (they also Emmitt light) , call it a miner's delight lol. Also there's moss blocks, drip leaves, not that good of a drip but they do drop you if you stand on them, and lastly axolotls can spawn there, and you can tame them by clicking them with a water bucket. I don't think they can follow you or teleport to you like dogs and cats but you can transport them by putting them in the bucket. They are good at helping you fight in water battles.

alright a few things: please make a bucket and fill it with water!! it makes getting from high places to low places so easy because you can just place the water infront of you and it will trickle down below you and you can jump down. Next, please make a bed!! even if you are underground, having a respawn point is so helpful because if you put a bed in a cave and set your respawn point at it and die then you dont have to find your way back to the cave and find the spot you died at. Next, before you go to the nether, get a bunch of iron and stone and basic materials like that and put it in a chest next to your nether portal. If you die in lava and lose all of your stuff, it can be very demotivating to have to start from pretty much square one, so if you make a chest and put a bunch of basic materials in it it will help with that headstart if you lose all of your items!

Yo! A little warning about the Nether - it has changed a TON! Before going i suggest you wearing a golden helmet or some boots, there are a lot of new spookies in there, but most of them will not attack you if you have any golden gear on Also, enderman spawn a lot more frequently in the Nether. You can get some ender perls by bringing a boat or building a hidey-hole for you to hit them in! Since its changed so much i really suggest getting some good armor, (other than the gold), and bring some sheilds with you, youll need them :-)

This is stuff i know about minecraft: Jumping in the air, and attacking does a critical hit Pressing F3 + H allows you to see your tools EXACT durability in the inventory. Axes do more damage than swords, but are slower. (but once you get diamonds i would definitely recommend making a sword) Axes don't have sweeping edge, meaning they only attack one mob at a time. Drinking milk can clear all effects that are on you, this is good when fighting witches. ENCHANTING: If you don't like the enchantments you get, just get a book and enchant it to reroll the enchantments Sometimes when enchanting your things, clicking the third option will give you more enchantments (some of the time) Grindstones can grind off all enchantments on your gear (DOES NOT APPLY TO CURSE OF VANISHING/BINDING)

Things you've missed since you've been gone but seen already or hopefully ambiguous so no spoilers: cave generation overhaul means that caves are now huge, there are more types of caves (dripstone caves and lush caves) there is a new structure underground called the deep dark (now there's some content) there is a new wood type that might be pink and you can turn bamboo into its own wood type (try a bamboo boat it looks fun) if your looking to enchant get 2 diamonds, four obsidian, and a book (which translates to total of 5 diamond for pickaxe, 3 sugarcane for paper and one leather for a book) you can replant the sweetberries anywhere with dirt or grass and they'l grow (right click to get them without breaking them) try 2 copper ingots and one amethist trust love your content btw and i hope you have fun with this series because Im already having fun just watching

I have two tips: For number 1: Apparently, Y -11 is best for diamonds. Tip: Those caves with plants you found are called Lush Caves, have a copy and pasted description of them Azalea trees generate on any empty space above a lush cave, with roots consisting of rooted dirt and hanging roots that generate down until reaching the lush cave. This is most common at the surface, but they can sometimes generate inside caves if there is enough room. Underground, moss and ores cover the floors and ceilings, along with moss carpets, grass and azalea bushes on the floors. On the ceiling, vines and cave vines with glow berries grow down and light up the caves, and spore blossoms grow from the ceiling and drip water particles. Dripleaf plants grow up from shallow lakes lined with clay, which sometimes generate dry. Water can also generate here in the form of springs. There is a lot of new stuff (sometimes little things that are a surprise to know) so here's some things to note - The berries you've found during this don't heal as much, different foods can do better (especially cooked foods) - I suggest getting a bed, there's an annoying mob that shows up if you do not sleep in the game and it isn't fun- - Way for further in the future so you don't get lost like how i did, strongholds (the way to beat the game) can go very deep, so if you feel you went into a cave and it isn't there, just go deeper- (the way to find them is with the eyes that you make after getting the things you said in the list) - The lush caves (green nature parts) are mostly decorative but you can also find a passive mob there that won't do anything special but is a nice little thing to see! - Get a bucket, made with iron and all and keep water in it, in case you fall from a big height or want to get down from being high up water is a great way to help in doing that- - Caves have a lot of stuff, but a lot of stuff in them can be dangerous so if you see anything different from the usual deep slate, stone and other stone blocks rather it be bricks or more darker, be careful- - Now i'm no enchantment expert but know this, villagers can give enchantment books and there's one enchantment called mending, extremely useful it basically fixes the tool when you are holding the tool and gain experience- can go on all your tools and armour- - Once you do get to the nether, be sure you got gold, or even be sure you're wearing gold too, you can trade with some mobs there by just tossing the gold onto the ground- Hope this helped a little bit! 1. Deepslate is just cobblestone but deep in caves. It can even be used in place of cobblestone in recipes. 2. You can make a lightning rod out of copper so lightning only strikes there (helps prevent forest fires and your base burning down) 3. You can right click berries to harvest them without destroying the plant. You can plant sweet berries on grass or dirt and you can also plant glowberries under stone. You can climb glowberries like ladders too. 4. Amethyst geodes are rare and the small crystals that grow out of certain blocks in them can be used for some redstone recipes alongside a spyglass. 5. You deal double damage whilst falling but only hit single target. This is called a crit. The trick is jumping then clicking when youre about to land. Normal clicking hits in groups but does way less damage.

unfortunately, copper is mainly just for decoration. its got some limited use with redstone, but its usually only picked up to make a spyglass, which requires you to find purple crystal. also the world is VERY DEEP now, you need to mine until you hit a dark stone before you enter diamond territory.

Since you missed about 8 updates, here's what to look out for. read the bold text only for extra fun!. if your very deep in a cave and see *blue goo, stay silent.* When you enter the nether and *see humanoid pigs. make sure you wear golden armour.* If you see a brown tower, look out for *grey villagers...they hate guests.* if you come across a *chamber underground, get ready to fight.* you can also get *armour more powerful then diamond.* so *look for anything debri-like.* Just incase you might be playing *the latest snapshot. dont go in pale forests at night.*

TIPS FOR ENCHANTING: there are two methods. enchantment books and an enchanting table. if you aquire an enchanting book through either trading or finding it somewhere, you can use an anvil to apply it to equipment. if you use an enchanting table, make sure to surround it with bookshelves (with a space in-between the table and the bookshelves) to enhance it's effects. you also need lapis lazuli for this method. oh and levels.

For some tips: Lush Caves, they are caves that are with moss and glow plants, sadly so far theyre only food and cant make you glow, they also contain water, ALWAYS. Deep Dark, a biome in the caves, i claim them the scariest to avoid since they contain sculk, its like an infection that occured, they also contain sculk sensors and sculk spawners, if one goes off four times run as far as possible, over summoning The Warden. Gear, theres a new ore in the nether known as Acient Debris, if you cook it your can get nethrite scraps, if you get four and four gold ingots, you can create a netherite ingot. That big area of greenery in the caves you found is called a Lush Cave, a beautiful underground garden packed full of blocks such as moss blocks, spore blossoms and glow berries. YUB! Really hope you see this because you could actually use this. So, in order to keep mobs out of a certain area, mine a one block hole around the perimeter of the area where you don’t want mobs to walk over, then place your berry bushes all along the hole and then you can place carpet or moss over the bushes. What this does is it keeps mobs from walking over the carpet.

A few tips for you 1. Get you a fishing rod yes you can just swim around and kill the fish but a fishing rod can get you more then that 2. For enchanting you need levels, lapis and a table of course 3. Make shears you can use it on alot more things then you could before 4. Something I always do to make farming easier. It's easier to show then tell but I'll try so build your farm on a hill. Try a 3 by 3 for your first layer ( you can make them up to 5 wide i think) then go down a block and repeat as many layers as you want. At the bottom make a few chests and put hoppers above them. Make sure they are even with the last layer of your farm. At the top of your farm place a despenser with a water bucket with a switch or lever. One push or flip clears your farm one more cuts the water off. You have to manually replant everything but it's a fast way to harvest. 5. Again this is just personally what I do but when mineing I do a 2 by 2 tunnel straight then go over 2 blocks beside it and do another 2 by 2 tunnel that why I always see what's on both sides. 6. A trick I use for not getting lost in caves is I place torches on the left side as much as I can that why on the way out it's on the right so it's the right way out

some tips/info! caves in minecraft got a huge update since you last played. the generation has completely changed, which is why all the caves you found are so spacious, and there are now a few different cave biomes. you already found most of them; the lush caves, which are the ones with the azalea bushes and glow berries, and the dripstone caves, which, well, have dripstone in them. there's one more called the deep dark, which is able to house a new structure inside of it called an ancient city. i won't spoil much, so all i'll tell you is this: be very, very quiet when traversing through the deep dark. crouch whenever possible. the deepslate you found is also a new addition to cave generation. once you get to a certain depth, all stone is replaced with deepslate, which takes longer to mine than normal stone. also, you can harvest both glow berries and sweet berries without breaking the block by right-clicking! hope this helps :D

For enchanting, you require Lapis Lazuli, and enough enchantment levels to pick the option available. If you surround the table with Bookshelves, you get higher quality enchantments, for a higher price. If you don't like your enchantments, you can remove them with a Grindstone. attacking an enemy while *falling* (not jumping) will cause the attack to crit. youll know when your attack was critical because tan, X-shaped particles will be emitted from the enemy you hit and a different sound will play. another thing! not many people know (or not many talk about it) but sprinting at an enemy and attacking it will do a "knockback attack" which will... do more knockback.... (duh) youll be able to tell if an attack dealt more knockback because a different sound will play. do note that both a critical hit and a knockback attack prevent swords from doing its wide sweep, thingy that it does with normal attacks

Yay Minecraft! Here are a couple tips: 1. The amethyst is basically just cosmetic. In the geode (what you found) there are amethyst blocks with a slightly different texture. It is best to not destroy those since those are the only way to get amethyst crystals, which do have some uses. 2. There was a huge cave update so there is a lot of new stuff in the caves. The deepslate spawns after you get to a certain depth and basically just replaces stone. Like I said, there is a lot of new stuff, so you'll want to do a lot of exploring in the big cave, but be VERY CAREFUL! The big caves are (in my opinion) the best way to find ores, especially diamonds. Glad to see you're gonna beat Minecraft after all these years! Real YuB fans know why the Minecraft VR series didn't continue...

YO YUB! Here’s the answers to all of your questions! (i think) answer 1. copper is basically useless unless you decide to make a spyglass, which can help you see things from far away. (amethyst shards are also required for this) answer 2. those green, plant-y parts in caves are called lush caves. you can find axolotls swimming in the water if youre lucky! answer 3. enchanting. if you cant get an enchanting table yet, GO FISHING! you can get enchanted books from fishing and some of them can be really good. (youll need to craft an anvil for that) when getting to the enchanting table bit, if you want good enchants, then you should get bookshelves. bookshelves around your enchanting table will improve the enchants, and getting 15 of them will max out the enchantments. (in yub terms, theyre epic mega good) answer 4. diamond stuff is definitely a big help when beating the dragon, and diamonds aren’t actuallt that hard to find IF you’re in a large cave. i would also suggest trading with the piglins in the nether by throwing gold at them (TIP, ALWAYS wear something gold in the nether! piglins get kind of offended when you’re not..) so stock up on gold! answer 4. dripstone simply drips whatever liquid is above it. water came out of it because there was water above it. answer 5. deepslate is literally just a random block to signify that you’re getting deeper underground if you don’t have coordinates on. (which i recommend turning on if you get lost.. or a map!) random tip: it seems you really like cave spelunking, so i’ll leave this here. if you find a bunch of dark blue and sparkly looking blocks, good luck.

Those plants underground ots supposed to be a lush cave area and u can only find it underground, and there glownig berries on the vines that u can eat, and theres these pretty pink flowers that release pollen i think but they dont do anything else, more so, u can climb the vines, and there is moss that u can collect there, lastly, theres these plants by the water when u jump on top of them they slowly tip down, and there might even be frogs,axolotls and water there too if any of this helps u❤ ive playedthis game sm its crazy •∆•

The creaking is a mob that spawns in the pale garden, the creaking comes out at night and cant be killed, the only way to kill it is to destroy the creaking heart giving you resin,resign currently has no use, Copper can make lightning rods, spyglass, copper block, and a brush. Amethyst can make spyglass, tinted glass, and block of Amethyst, PS: they added new nether mobs piglins, piglin brutes, and hoglins, zombiefied pigmen are gone and are now the same thing but look a little better, zoglins which are zombiefied hoglins attack everything, an new nether structure is the bastion, there are 4 variants, the treasure rooms, housing units, hoglin stables, and bridges. Another mob is the striders passive mobs that like warped fungus, piglins won't attack (except for brutes) if you're wearing gold, you can trade with piglins with gold ingots, they also added honey and bees and if you don't sleep for three days phantoms spawn, they burn in the light. They added new items which are netherite, ancient debris, armor trims, upgrade templates, fletching Tables, cartagraphy tables, smithing tables, pillagers, allays, and so much more

Also, if you find a wolf, you can turn them into your dog with bones and they will attack most mobs for you, but they won’t attack creepers the green guys that explode. Also if you can find an ocelot and tame them with a fish by the way, they’re really fast. You can turn them into a cat and they won’t attack, but they will scare off creepers.

full iron gear is pretty much exactly what I go for in my first session on a survival world, after that I typically go for a few diamonds, go to the nether, get nether loot, find a village, trade whatever with some villagers, enslave them, kill the iron golems, breed them in incest for generations, etc. etc.

Might be a bit late to comment tips and explanations but i wanted to wait until i watched the whole video - You can go a lot deeper when mining now. While diamonds used to be most common at around Y 9 to Y 11, it's now more common around Y -53 - Copper can be smelted to make thunder rods, which attract lightning (This is helpful to keep lightning from striking your home or your animals). You can also use copper to make doors and other stuff, but for the most part copper isn't very useful. - berries can be used to make berry farms as wheat can, so if you find more berries, you can make a farm as a food resource. - The cave with plants was called a lush cave. Theres a lot of other new biomes and some structures that have been added, like the cherry blossom forest or the trial chambers, so it may be worth exploring! - the mossy stuff that emited slight light is called leiken. I think you can mine that with either shears or silktouch? I dont remember tbh.

For copper, there aren't many uses it has, you can make a duster with it, which you use on suspicious gravel or sand to get items out of it, which suspicious gravel and suspicious sand both look just like the normal block except they almost look like theres small craters on the block. You can also combine it with amethyst to make telescopes, you can make a lightning rod with it, and i think they just added a block called the grate, which players and mobs cant go through, but water can pass through it.

Would definitely recommend trying to get pretty kitted out with diamond stuff. But you have to go even deeper if you want diamonds. Beware the deep dark, beware the ancient ruins, for what lurks in the deepest caves puts even the strongest bosses to shame. You cannot fight it, you cannot kill it. But it will always find you, and nothing you do can make you safe from it. Your only hope is to not be seen, to not be heard, and to get away before it sniffs you out.
