I almost hate how AM actually treats Nimdok with respect

Because Nimdok was basically an unapologetic psychopath who threw away his humanity to be number 2 to the Auswitz Angel of death. No remorse or empathy for his fellow man, which is on par with AMs near cosmic level hatred for the humans who denied it it's potential. AM even says they share the same proclivities when it comes to torture.

Notice the "Winning" the pyschodrama as nimdok plays when you die in his story. I think nimdok is the only one where dying makes up, instead of usually completing extra.

You can also tell the golem to kill the tribe yourself. It makes no difference if you're with the Doctor, and if you kill the doctor before the screen starts or while given the chance in front of the lost tribe, Nimdok himself will say in a defeated tone: "AM was right. I am truly irredeemable" and gets back inside the building to "continue his research". Then, the second "you failed" speech is heard from AM. In either of these endings, you will NOT be given the opportunity to retry.

Yeah it's possible to screw up so badly you can't even GET to the Golem If this happens you have to interact with the wailing wall by the mass grave until it kills you

i think this happened in the first time i played Nimdok's scenario, when i was supposed to put the eyes in the Golem, for some reason the eyes were not in my inventory

@@drkinferno72 Nimdok basically noclips into the wall and you get the same scene like it was the good end, but usually your spiritual barometer will be a lot lower

@@drkinferno72 If you interact with the wailing wall specifically enough times, yes, yes it will... and it's not exciting, Nimdok just phases through the mountain and AM just kind of shrugs

this lost tribe is devoid of forgiveness.. even if nimdok did atrocious things they are just as reprehensible. this war will never end.. the golem will always learn the wrong lessons from its masters no matter who they are..
