Incase we forgot so soon, just the last reunion before coming on this season Mia was seated right next to Wendy and it was for reasons that were "included" in the [whole season] AFTER Mia's violence that she [sincerely apologized] for that we can't seem to get past when the victim herself is over it. So if we cannot at the very least "envision" why Mia is probably Wendy's favorite person on that cast and for "just" reasons......

I'm glad Dr. Wendy exposed Giselle's selective outrage when it came to how she responded to Mia vs. her. Friend or not, Giselle is FOS because a mother defends her children by checking those who disrespect them point blank. Giselle made an excuse to avoid accountability for her colorist behavior. I understand Dr. Wendy bringing up what happened with the children because whether or not they are friends, it is a serious accusation and can damage public opinion severely. It’s a heavier matter than he said, she said. There was vitriol for Candiace and Dr. Wendy after they look debacle. They kept talking about trying to sway the group and the public and it was brought again at the reunion and Giselle stood on it despite it being stupid. There was vitriol before and after and I believe Dr. Wendy had merit bringing it up.

In Regards to Gizelle I would just assume if she considered Mia a friend she would be even more upset about the comments Mia made about her children, bringing up something she told her in confidence in an attempt to hurt hurt her is not what a “friend” would do. So Gizelle’s rebuttal to Wendy checking her about her bias and her response being “well oh Mia is someone who I consider a friend” is just BS and I’m not buying it. Gizelle and Mia were simply two people who bonded over hating Candice and Wendy and I’m happy Wendy called her out… but that’s my personal opinion.

I think the one thing we need to remember as viewers is we get a sliver of these scenes. Like in this case, apparently Gizzy had more words to say to Mia but the two of them went to production and asked them to cut it out. That being sad, I wouldn't put it past production last season seeing they were doing Gizzy's bidding that they cut the D.R. scene because there is a concerted effort to keep Gizelle in a good light so she very well might have tried to bite both Wendy's and Candiace's head off.

However when it came to Karen I fully agreed and thought you were spot on. & this is coming from someone who’s recently lost a parent - grief can shake you to your core. But, Karen’s alcoholism is well documented & has been going on since before her parents died.
