I feel like it's so easy to fix big chunks of your swing. Like maybe only 3 things to focus on. 1. Bending with the lower portion of your thighs (like imagine bending the halfway down the thigh and below, but above the knees) so that your left leg action can improve. It's currently jutting out instead of turning in. (see a picture of ben hogan from his book). Or use one of those art drawing wood models that's suspended. Try to set the feet by pulling on the lower portion of the models upper thigh and see how the feet plants a lot more solidly. You'll feel more springy and allow your hips to move a little more independently of your upper body. You won't get away from the "tush line" as you do now. Perhaps get the hips a little more over the ankles instead of behind it as well, if you feel like you are too locked up. 2. Understanding how to participate the right arm and elbow so that you aren't throwing away the lag in the downswing. How you approach this at the takeaway is key. If it isn't right you'll have a very hard time not losing the lag. I like to think of it as pushing it towards the ball as the left arm takes it away, before rebounding residually -- that way when you do take it back it's going a good retracting rate that doesn't lead to throwaway at the change of directions. When you do change directions in the downswing, it should then feel like it's collecting and getting close to your body instead of an irresistible throw away force. 3. setting up the grip and arms so that they form a better structure -- to ultimately get a better sense of how to assemble and where to assemble the loaded structure for delivery. Harder to describe this one in text.
