100 days to beat both Aberration and Extinction? I have to beat Aberration in 50 days, then ascend to Extinction and likewise beat it in 50 days. Oh, and both maps have to be beaten on ALPHA difficulty. Seems impossible right? Well, time to find out!

I love 100 Days videos, and doing multiple maps within the same time limit is an interesting twist. I'd love to see you do a run where you just plow through as many maps as you can during the 100 days and see how many you can get, maybe allow yourself to bring at least a breeding pair or something to the next map after finishing each one just to make it possible to do more than a couple of maps. Or do you think 2 maps is about the limit at this point?

Btw, the reason the inforcers attacked is a scout must have tagged you while you were taming the parasaur, and since scouts and enforcers are linked, it made the enforcer attack you

Major tip, don’t use canons for taming Karkinos, they do extra damage to it that makes the taming effect worse. Use the Catapult instead.

I’ve tried it in the past, but most of the time I find the catapult ends up killing it. Either way, i would be more interested in a good effectiveness for a long term world, but for something shorter it’s not as much of a bother

The pump shotgun reloads quicker if you’re in third person because the shot counter doesn’t matter so the character will only load in two shells but you’ll get 6 shots

Loads faster? Yes. But it still takes time. When in third person it does the AR reload animation, which is slightly faster then a shotgun’s standard reload. It’s helpful for certain situations, but overall doesn’t make enough of a difference for general situations

Hey pro tip if you ever play on aberration again use the karkinos to get the drake eggs with some cryopoded Megalos just in case. It is a great strat that saves a lot of time due to the karkinoses super jumps and it’s fall resistance

My only concern with using a karkinos (cause I have considered it before) is the low damage output and its hard to get a jump in while being attacked, making escapes incredibly difficult

Originally I thought it was low damage stat rolls, but I later found out that apparently I had player resistance up so i took less damage. In general it didnt effect gameplay to much, but it did make that surprise megalo attack far more easily survivable then it would have been

See, what I don’t understand, only because I easily get lost and sometimes (at least in the beginning) have trouble finding my base. How is it that you and other Ark KZbinrs can, for example, go out on a long winded adventure, gliding down giant chasms etc and then just kinda go back to base afterward. I feel like it would be an adventure in itself just trying to find my way back home lol

I mean generally it’s just about knowing where your base is. From there, it’s adventure while heading in that direction. However in a few select cases, we’ve played our fair share of each map, and know the ins and outs pretty well. You could pop me at any spot on aberration and I’d know how to get back to portal, just comes with experience lol

Mod called Better Hardcore, resets you to lvl 1 on death. Pair it with ascensions, and you keep the ascensions but lose the levels. And yeah normally I’m not much for dino storage, but when you have to throw out giant armies of dinos (spanning over hundreds of creatures), I will use it then lol

I had tried the standard method of drake and shotgun on a previous run and failed, so I had to come up with something new. And yeah, gen 1 should be interesting to say the least… I will say it either will not be entirely solo, some cheats, or both

Recording alone was around 100 hours. Editing took awhile (mostly cause i didnt work on them consistently), so i’d add an extra 50-75 hours for each one. So thats around 150-175 hours each, which means 450-525 hours spent on them total

Honestly can’t blame most peeps for going for gamma, most are new to either ark or a time limit so it helps alleviate some stress

Yes but for Someone who also plays solo and does alpha it's good too see it can actually be done before I attempt it
