my opinion: chronos isnt even that good (i dont use it) 1) Dies to any slightly strong physical move 2) chronos when mudspit 😱 3) Strong priority/determ counter (Ex: alum ftl, spring quick strike) 4) most bulky-ish doodle can usually tank a move (ex: umaisho, incinelesk) edit: started actually using chronos to test my theory, and i was oh-so wrong, sorry

Has good coverage along with gem blast to boost its damage even higher. "Dies to any physical moves": Show me a physical attacking doodle thats eating 2 hits from this thing (one on the swap and another the turn they attack) without running a gimmicky set that's basically unviable against anything but chronos and also still has enough attack investment to even kill it (cuz trust me, chronos is not that frail to die to a non super effective move without attack investment). The only things that i see that could take 2 hits are spiraryu, clangutang and henchum, that's it! Its only counter is priority moves. Which btw, most are physical and low power meaning that your spiky thorn users just swap in and take minimal damage and deal damage back to them.
