'I Have Seizures': Attempted Murder Victim Testifies in Young Thug YSL Trial

Dexter "Pooh" Montgomery was shot in the head near a Citgo gas station in Atlanta on April 12, 2015.
Walter “DK” Murphy went to prison for it, and now the shooting is part of the rackteering conspiracy charge against Young Thug because prosecutors included it as an overt act.
Fulton County Assistant District Attorney Demetrius Smith questioned Montgomery on Tuesday (April 16). He wasn't shown on camera per the judge's order.

She said she wants to get justice for whoever did this. DK already took the rap and they never even bothered to tell him or even ask him about it. This is crazy.

I can’t understand why the judge allowed Dexter’s testimony. Is this not abuse of victim impact statements? This gives unduly prejudicial 🤔

Think that’s what Steel tried to say to the judge cause he had filed a previous motion, but the judge didn’t seem to care much

@@cheryl467 Oh was that what Steel was reiterating during the trial? I couldn’t make out all of what he said. I did agree with him when he said, the state gets to do whatever they want even after you’ve told them no, your honor. My ears had to work overtime to hear that part😂

@@Slimnbonez yeah sound wasn’t good but he pointed out that the judge had granted the motion to forbid victim impact statements, think it was very recently granted but the state violated that. Judge didn’t seem to care much, and as usual statement can do whatever they want

@@cheryl467 judge glanville is gaslighting the defense claiming his testimony wasn’t a victim impact statement. Yet there was no other reason for his presence. The state has been playing in everyone’s face from the start. Did Steel ever file the motion to recuse? I guess it’s unnecessary but I would be moving for a mistrial every day 😂 at this point

It kinda is they was a gang supposedly and thug was the leader and the shot victim Cuzzing was a target thug might not be the person who did it but you can beat he knew what his crew was doing ..

There is a huge discrepancy, he claims they were in a Camaro and never made to the gas station. Yet all the other testimony was about a Ford focus. What’s going on?

& clearly the pictures that's in evidence doesn't show the interior of a camero. Looks like a ford focus to me. Also, it was the driver that was shot, but he said he was the passenger.

& the state kept saying that D'Angelo White said he knew the victim. (Pooh) He kept telling them that they were lying & he didn't know the victim. The witness (pooh) also said he didn't know D'Angelo White. This is a circus cade..

@@DG-kq6gc the technician who took the pictures testified it was a Ford Focus, they keep asking D’Angelo about a Ford Focus, isn’t this when they introduced the term Hot Box for stolen car. The Pro’s claim Pooh and D’Angelo were looking to rob someone when they seen OG Bentley and thought he had a lot of money. It doesn’t make sense OG was in a minivan with a woman and kids. Pooh said him an his cus went to the store for grandma in his cus Camaro. Pooh was passenger but you’re right all the medic stuff was on driver’s side? Definitely wasn’t a Camaro!

Which is why his testimony shouldn’t have been allowed. He’s missing part of his head and soiled himself on the stand. His statement is moot because he didn’t present as the state claimed he would. We can’t tell if the state lied or if Dexter is confused. I move for a mistrial

@@Slimnbonez I agree, also Pooh claimed they never made it to the gas station, on the 911 call D’Angelo tells the DS they went to a gas station and his partner was trying to talk to some girl. They left but but seen them shortly after and they started shooting.
