I think the use of NFT in any content like games should be explicitly mentioned, after reading the Faqs of the page (If i understand it correctly) it says that the number of NFTs in your deck affects the benefits from winning which it's not really leaning into the "not NFT obligatory" system. I have been watching your yt hearthstone content for some time now but NFTs are a huge unsub from me.

You misunderstand. In order to earn money (their $PRIME token), you need to have NFTs in your deck. There is NO competitive advantage in the gameplay for having the NFTs, though. That portion of the game is COMPLETELY optional. It's exactly like Hearthstone with opening packs, gold, and a dusting system. But in order to make real money, you gotta invest in the digital assets. I didn't mention it because I'm not trying to get my audience to buy their NFTs or crypto, I just want them to learn the game because I think it's really great and fun. I will say tho - I really believe that digital collectibles (NFTs) are a good system for card games, so if you have any respect for me at all, please just consider learning more about why. There's a lot of misinformation out there about it, and I wouldn't risk my brand on it for no reason. I have a successful career and strong brand, I don't need to peddle "scams" to succeed... just think about it. Wish you the best.

It's currently only available on PC! Mobile and Mac compatibility are in the works, but we don't have an exact date for that yet.

No. You don’t have use crypto to play the game at all. If you want to actually own your cards so that you can resell/share them or earn money for playing the game, then you can buy a digital collectible (NFT) version. But there’s no benefit in gameplay from it. The “apparition” versions of cards are exactly like Hearthstone - locked to your account but can be bought in packs, crafted, and dusted, etc.

Why? I encourage you to be open minded about web3 and NFTs. Not everything is scam. And Parallel doesn’t force you to do anything related to NFTs if you don’t want to. It’s 100% playable like a hearthstone system.

The entire point of the game is NFTs. You get one free rookie deck when you start. If you want anything else after that, it's NFTs.

That's not true. You can have an entire collection of '"apparitions" - these cards function exactly like your collection in Hearthstone does. Glints (gold) and Scrap (dust) are only for the apparitions... You can't "craft" an NFT with scrap. They built the apparition system entirely for people that do not want to play with NFTs.@@dac0917

An ambassador.. what exactly does that mean? Are you getting paid to advocate for the game? Are you simply allowed a few sneak peeks / to try new cards before us plebs? With the inclusion of NFTs it puts everything into question. I am fully aware of all things related to NFTs, I know they are not necessarily scams - but dang it, there are a lot of people out there using it as such, and I cannot tell if it is a positive or negative, the fact that you did not mention NFTs. Could be that you are excited simply for the game and did not see a point to mentioning it.. Or it could be a way to sucker people in. Could be.. could be.. hard to tell. I do think that Hearthstone is seriously lacking a card trading system - and NFTs could either be a really good way of solving that, or it could be absolutely tragic lol. Risky move. Also, how about Accessibility? Something Hearthstone is also lacking is in-house accessibility for blind/visually impaired people. I am one such people and would love to find other games than HS to play and found myself disappointed when a friend could not find anything! In any case, thank you Allie for the recommendation. I will keep tabs on it for sure and if there is ever Accessibility for blind people, I will try it out for sure. Given that NFTs has not decked their economy/market or even reputation lol.

That said, buying cards listed on OpenSea is one straightforward way to nab assets you want for your deck-building efforts, though soon it will be possible to rent cards via groups like ParagonsDAO, too.

@@AnAnxiousFroggonope. All of the cards can either be a NFT or “apparition.” The apparitions are just locked to your account like they would be in Hearthstone. There’s no gameplay advantage of the NFTs. You buy the NFTs if you want to make money ($PRIME) for playing the game or you want to lend them to friends/sell them once you’re done with the game, etc.
