Darling, you’re doing just fine. It’s always rough when you’re trying to raise kids and do what you’re trying to do or even if you had a regular job, it wouldn’t matter you have to be there for your kids. You have to be there for your husband. You have to be there for your animals just do what you can make sure they’re fed and the next day do what you didn’t do the day before, and just breathe.!!! I love horses and animals, and I noticed that that was what your content was about. But although I do love the animals they’re special. It’s also nice to know a little bit about you and your husband so we can kind of understand as you’re taking these walks down your memory lane.

Amanda, just backup and regroup. You are attached at the hip, it's a bond with your partner that's obvious. During active duty with children around my feet, I had that overwhelming response too. Your heart is big, make some plans that help ease the pressure. Everything you share is great. You have the content, finding the balance to share is likely the bigger concern. Be kind to yourself and decide little steps that ease. I'd see if you could find small breeding panels to create a barrier around the hay. They are easy to lift the rod and move. You are right, finding the balance to share the content is definitely the bigger problem. 😊 Life seems to be all about balance, and being mindful of how we spend our time. Just remember that this too shall pass. And if all you accomplish in the next 12 days is to keep everybody alive and well, then you will have done a good job. Sometimes life is messy and somedays life is hard but somehow we manage to get through the hard times to see the good times again.

I think I found you through the horses. And I have stayed because I love you from afar. I have gotten to know you through your videos. You are a loving, giving and God loving person. That makes you special. I enjoy horses, and especially the little girl. She is looking very good and healthy, cute little ladybug. I know nothing about goats so all of that info is really cool to me. You do live in a very difficult place since it gets so cold half of the year. I can't imagine that kind of weather. I grew up in Pennsylvania and left when I was 18 and never went back. You are young. Remember, you are not wonder woman. You can't do it all, especially by yourself. Give yourself a break. I think most anyone would "loose it" after what those silly goats did. And they are silly animals and the only way that you can control them is to keep them locked up. I grew up around farms and ranches. You show a realistic view of what it takes to run that farm and it's a lot of hard work!! Take your time with the videos. Once or twice a week is plenty of time for us to visit with you. "We only suffer when we want reality to be different than it is" What I mean by that is that if you accept that things are the way they are right now and don't try to force yourself to live up to unrealistic expectations, you will find the peace and joy again. Your honest.Thats good,because so many go into this knowing nothing thinking it’s going to be simple and plain sailing.Your showing it’s a bit of both.I love the goats,but I also have a special spot for Ladybug..Just look at her,she could have just given up,but she’s a fighter and she’s stubborn ,like you,as well as determined too.Can I please suggest before letting the goats out.Sort your Hay,put it in the pens where it has to go,only take enough out for that day.If any more is needed for the day place what’s left where the goats cannot get to it or cover it so they have to eat the grass and the rougher areas it will not only save time,but save wasting hay. But apart from that you just have to set a routine that is easy to follow.You clearly love your animals so enjoy them.The children could help put food in the bowls.Ask them to watch them eat the food to make sure they are all eating.Involve them a little more then they will feel less left out.They love the animals too.Your alone,and feel lost.I have been alone for years.i miss companionship,a kiss before bed and a hug most of all but you have to be strong and when he comes back it’s so sweet ,it is great having a bit of a break it makes you realise how much you love each other..you yourself have said your so busy.So time flies fast.I watch you and feel for you .I suffer depression and have most of my life.I don’t wear it on my sleeve or let it run my life,at nearly 70 I am just used to it.UK are rubbish with dealing with it..The system is no good. Thank you for being so raw and honest. I have been in the same boat lately with feeling overwhelmed and at times not having my husband home to help with all of the farm things. It is so easy to feel alone and the heaviness that it adds to our situations. Homesteading can bring in so many different emotions...good or bad. Thankfully, harder times seem to come in waves, and it'll have to break sometime to give us calm waters. We are brand new to Nubians, and I have loved your channel! I am establishing our little starter herd, so our girls won't be kidding for the first time until the spring. I'm fighting the urge to add more! Nubians are truly the sweetest things!

We had a couple of dairy cows, but that wasn't a good experience and wasn't enjoyable for me. We've had "mutt" goats over the years, and they always brought so much fun and joy to us! I finally convinced my husband to let me try dairy goats and I think the Nubians have won him over!

Listen to all these good people watching your farm. Remember we are all here through choice no-one makes us watch you. I personally watch several farm related KZbinrs and other than being my ASMR go to videos you all have one thing in common...life is hard big farms or small home steads it is the same you battle nature as well as general life issues just be yourself and enjoy life as best you can it will work out as it is mean to. My only advice for the videos if you are struggling would be to concentrate on one part of daily life per video just to ease some pressure eg. A video on the horses one week and one on the goats the following week. Set yourself a reasonable and achievable goal such as one or two videos a week for now and see how you go. We will all still be here.

Hi I had an idea of your interesses their is a salution for your goats if you like place a skid on the floor. Then put some hard fencing as large were they kod pote there head in it and they dont heart them selves Tie it on the bottom of skid to attach it to the skid. Were the goats cod que pote there head in all range the hay will be.your goats dont have horns they Will be not cote in the fence and any liste the hight at your your size and lenght as they can eat around it all your goats you Will decide.

We all need that prayer covering, and we are all called to stand together as one family from one blood, the Blood of Jesus, Him crucified, and the finished work of the cross. My Pastor told me when I would get over whelmed from taking care of my in-laws before they passed to just ask the Lord for more Grace when you hit those stress moments, He will give it to you.

Maybe if u could rent the goats out. Some people will hire the goats to eat down their overgrowth would hopefully give u money and them food. Also there are youga places that use the goats as part of their yoga

That is a niche market I might look into next year. Biggest challenge is the cost to purchase move-able fencing that is secure to keep predators out and the goats in. Not to mention herd health concerns as I cannot control what they are exposed to as easily. Goat pilates has crossed my mind. 🤣

Could he possibly had his legs chained up in the back or maybe a rough Ferrier. I have known farriers that will chain up rope up the leg so it’s easier for them to get a horseshoe, but I don’t know it’s all I’m thinking. I don’t think you’ll ever have it totally under control when you’re just you and your husband trying to do it now if you had an extra hand or something maybe but not just the two of you and you know what Amanda don’t beat yourself up. Those kids will be fine yeah I was one of those willingly moms and I had two boys and all they did was complain and they were going up about their mother and their mother. Oh let me tell you now they’re grown men and they, always compliment me about being the best mom they could’ve ever asked for and your kids will grow up the same way whatever you do don’t make don’t forget to take time for yourself because if you don’t, you’ll be good for nobody or no thing. ❤❤❤

I have a few guesses as to what probably happened, but we would never know for sure. Just sad that a pony/horse can be wrecked so easily. It can take a long time to undo that kind of trauma. 😭 It's a bit of survival mode, and look for the sunshine, while my hubby is gone. It's hard, but we will make it through. Isn't that how it is? We think we are doing a horrible job and wish we were doing better, but then our kids end up grinning from ear to ear about the simple things they loved to do with mom. We underestimate the impact of all the little daily things, that we thought didn't matter. 🥰

Yours is the second vlogger meltdown in two days. You are clearly overwhelmed, as she was. She found a solution, and I'm sure you will as well. But when you can, after goats are penned, all critters fed, children asleep, a long soak in a hot bath with some soft music, or whatever your comfort is, just time alone in the quiet. It's hard to come up with solutions in the midst of the storm, but you'll find a way. And nobody really has it all figured out, we all juggle stuff, and we all have our meltdowns occassionally. You're not unique or weak, just overwhelmed and maybe tired. Good luck.

Ladybug's legs are looking great. It's okay to let the babies cry. Get what you need to get done. The rest will be there tomorrow. Do what you can and if you can't do it, then let it go(til another day) Life is overwhelming, when you have children, animals and a husband. God shows up, just ask . Cry, scream, get it out.
