KZbinrs coming out with step by step tutorials and guides teaching people how to manipulate the game in their favor to out perform their opponent rather than allow people to discover their own playstyle. ProAm is just a different beast. You don't have to run meta but just have a strategy. Our ProAm runs a 6'7 2 Way Inside Out Point Center to bring the ball up. Still has 96 rebounding and can guard corner and interior decently well. 6'8 inside PF 93 block and 94 interior, 6'6 SF lock 99 steal and perimeter , 6'4 SG 99 3 but can lock & 6'3 PG that can get a bucket but also has 92 perimter and 96 steal. It is still metaish but a little spin. My point being in ProAm it's about strategy and having a game plan. I treat it like preparing for an actual game. Yeah metas ruin the experience, but at least you know what to expect and as long as you can have an answer to these 7'1 bigs/poppers and legend lightning launch you're good.

Use takeovers that boost rebounding I can’t stress that enough!! This only works if you make a center that’s already very sound either on outside or interior scoring. Also it’s better to specialize in only inside or outside scoring as this year ur attributes and higher badges honestly mean a lot

all around ability is more important in the nba because you dont play the same team every game and every team has different personell. in a league where everyone can be the "perfect build" theres not much reason to try and be versatile unfortunately

I made my builds to complement my playstyle while it being comp. I got a Dirk type build with good rebounding. Kinda like an offense heavy popper. Just gotta find the in between. Especially now with cap breakers. Completely doable to make a fun/comp build.

My best advice unless you are a sweat or getting paid by 2k or a very competitive player, make a build that you are going to enjoy, and not make one you usually wouldn't just to keep up. Made a luka build to start the year. Being slow is already an L but with bot being able to dunk it makes scoring practically impossible. If the center your paired with cant shoot then any layup no matter what is getting blocked. I average 14 and 10 right now but using lukas shot makes it impossible to actually get open and shoot the ball. Not being meta has hobestly made the game unplayable for me.
