Your perspective on markets is so interesting! I’m still figuring out how I feel about them, but I’m doing my first one this weekend. I follow Monica too, and her videos definitely inspire me to give markets a try. I think they could be great for building a local audience and networking. Plus, you never know, might meet someone who opens the door to opportunities like corporate events.

Yeah we feel the same way about markets. We did a lot in Jersey and New York but we haven’t done any since moving to Florida. We’re focused on growing online now.

That’s what we want to focus on next year. Do you see a difference in average markets vs the really large holiday type markets?

@ yeah the large holiday markets are worth the time and money. The large ones tend to have a larger marketing budget.

I find with markets if they have more than two vendors with the same type of product, all the vendors suffer. I'm a soap maker and I have left a few fairs because too many similar vendors. At one event the had one vendor between myself and another soap vendor. Spread us out at least.
