The gameplay has gotten has gotten more and more defensive since fifa 18. I feel like that was the last playable fifa in my opinion. Each year it's more and more ai defending drop back counter. No type of attacking fluidity since the ai marks every player or one bad touch from a tackle from behind by the AI. This fifa feels the most glitched to me as well. The amount of bicycle kicks and rainbow flicks to overhead kicks from outside the box going in is disgraceful 😂

I didnt play fifa 18 but I remember fifa 17 and there wasn't really a meta at all you just played how you wanted there was actual skill in the game. I came back to fifa 19 and had to play against varane at rb and el tornado crosses to tots Havertz and toty Ronaldo. There's always been a meta to abuse since that fifa that just ruins any game cuz no matter how good you are if someone can perfectly time first time over the top through balls to mbappe your losing 95 percent of the time.

Cannot disagree with u in anything related with the state of the game, i fully agree, BUT, i am going to comment on the squad battles. Yes, i am one of those weirdos that play squad battles regularly because i am nearing 40s, like playing fifa every now and then, and i cannot cope with the stuff u mention on this video nor the actual messages, celebrations, idiotic behaviour on games and so on that u find when playing online this game. Also, regarding the inconsistent gameplay i will also say they replicate the pressure tactics and slow gameplay on legendary and ultimate modes, i suggest you try out those ones at least a couple of times, it might serve as proof that inconsistent gameplay is actually embedded in the game logic. I am happy that you spoke out like this about the game anyway, keep it up!

The problem is FIFA isn't a football game, it's a gambling game. Which is why you have so many less players playing Pro-clubs/seasons. We have been addicted over our teenage years to opening packs. If they gave everyone free Mbappe they'd still submit him into SBC to get +1 version of him which is slightly better. EA have destroyed a generation into problem gambling.

Take a notice of how your player doesn't dribble "manually" and when you try popping off certain things in the game, left stick dribbling and skills, your player is already doing an animation that hinders it from doing what you need it to do. The Contextual Dribbling is always on no matter what game mode you play.

This is most due to everything that is dynamic in this game you can never expedt anything from any player, attacking or defending because they will always react in so many ways possible. Impossible to have fun competing on this game. Watch the pros playing, most boring gameplay ever. TOO SLOW, TOO UNCONSISTENT, TOO SCRIPTED!!! Regarding the settings getting reset: although that shit still pisses me off, i found something that works for me aside from the "save profile" thing. What i do is always have my controller connect to the PS5 via usb cable. It is really annoying to have, but since I started doing this a few months ago it never reset again. The hold RT/R2 sprint merchants are the ones that infuriate me the most, there's literally no skill involved it's just a crap mechanic that renders my AI defenders helpless, and when I try to manually defend it, the reaction is so slow that the defenders struggle to keep up. Then I try and do build up play with well thought out passes, only for a park the bus defense to stop it because it's near impossible to score with build up play, and once they intercept the ball it's back to the RT/R2 sprint counter attack. Which then makes me have to play the same ratty way to stay in games, which is not how I want to play.

Great video, gotta love the passion to improve this game because we all want a better experience. I think a step up would be to make a structured video with lots of gameplay clips to exemplify every single point, but I understand how that would be very high effort. I would love for more high profile fifa youtubers to take an approach like that instead of a rant though. My problem is definitely with the switching, so often you cannot switch to the right player at all, right stick failing even as well. The idiotic AI has the secondary cursor bounce all over the place making it at times IMPOSSIBLE to switch correctly, how hard can it be to fix that shit.

I play squad battles a lot too. You notice it there as well, the inconsistent gameplay. Usually it starts quite decent but when the ai score... Not only they go constant pressure and your players all of a sudden they're not moving around anymore, passing feels slow and just bad, dribbling feels delayed and slowed down, and so on. I fucking hate it man

Hey Bro, Absolutely love the content!! Keep it up. Maybe it's just me but has anyone else noticed how when you're in the "Club" tab in the menu, hit X to Enter Squad, then this "O" to back out of the menu you're chemistry SIGNIFICANTLY decreases??? Maybe I'm crazy but seems to definitely affect how my team plays the next match. Just wanted your thoughts....

I 100% agree with everything he says. Bad gameplay is a thing. It happens to for a period of time after I had good gameplay. When I had smooth gameplay I can guarantee it’s going to bad in 3 days.
