I generally don't replay games, don't really rewatch movies etc. The "one" experience is enough for me, I don't want it again. With P3 it's somewhat compounded since I played it at a very specific time and I loved that game, more than the other Persona games after it. I recognise that it's unlikely to hold up the way I enjoyed it back then, so I never had the need to go back to it. If I replayed the same game, there's no way to have the same experience as the first time around, but when the game was made new in different ways, I _can_ have the same wonder and excitement about it as the first time. That's the same reason I like FFVII Remake so much for example.

@@PeetaPlays That's interesting. I replayed FES a couple years back, and even though I remembered the ending perfectly well, it hit even harder that time. There's all these little sidestories from the non-SL NPCs and they're worth paying attention to. I think most players ignored them, so the remake gives you little baubles to incentivize reading them.
