Like you, I lost a total of 6 people in my life during an 18 month period while the Covid pandemic was gong on - 2 were friends, one was my sister, one was a mother-figure to me, and then my mother-in-law and father-in-law. I have kept recordings of their voices, too. Thank you for this blessed song. It touched my soul.

Dear Loren, I don't know why my wife's name is there , but that really makes this comment special. We were married for 43 short years, but the last ten were bad. Removed a tumor in 2012, bowel blockage in 2014 which got bad and she almost died from sepsis. She lost some bowel and they kept both ends seperated for 9 months. I got good at putting bags or pouches on. Then they put her back together and she got C-dif twice. Pam never got all her her strength back. She walked in the house, but needed a wheelchair to go out shopping. Her joy was digging in her flower garden and I was always near by to pick up the weeds. Then covid came, but she was ok even with the unbelieveable waits in the ER and the fact that I couldn't wait with her. Another tumor in the fall of 2020 which they didn't take out till January of 2021. This one weighted 9 pounds which was more then her daughter when she was born. She healed from that ok. Around June she had a cat scan done to do surgery on a bulging disk and they found multiple tumors , also a low iron count from an infection They gave her iron infusions and stopped the infection and she needed to just have physical therapy and get her strength back, but it was just too much. Too much for too long. She died December 1, 2021 only 66 years old. After her death, I would her her voice in my mind because I had no recording. Then I listened to your song ' I Hear Your Voice ' and I really love that song. You are a treasure, there is no one like you because you put so much feeling in your voice. You are in the Master Class and You are my favorite Singer now. No one else comes close because your Heart is Pure and so BIG! I Thank You for being You. James D. Mackay

This absolutely beautiful song took me back About 15 years ago I was A victim of domestic abuse for seven years. Frightened to leave as he threatened my family who lived 1000+ miles away. I was cut off from anyone I knew. One night my grandmother came to me in a dream.. She was in my kitchen cooking and humming a song just like I remember when I was a child. I asked her, grandma what are you doing here? I was confused because I knew she had passed away years before. She answered I’m here to help you💝. That dream carried me through the darkest times until I was finally able to escape. To this day I thank God he for her voice in my darkness.

She always said that she had 3 children - Her daughter, son and husband. Now when I'm adult with my own two daughters I agree with her! I have 3 kids too 😄 Very beautiful song!

I lost my mum 3 years ago to a short lived battle with cancer and things have never been the same. One marriage breakdown and multiple health issues later and I feel very alone and isolated and terrorised by my own body at times. Would give anything to see my mum again and have a hug and be told everything will be ok but sadly can’t happen even though I can feel her and heard her voice every day. Stunning song Loren, your voice is amazing and very relatable lyrics. Thank you ❤

Knock off the comparisons. Loren sounds like Loren. And we are all blessed for having heard her. Shes giving us the gift of her vocal talent. Personally, i do think she has some of the greatest vocals. I'm blown away by what she can do. And i don't need to compare her to anyone else to appreciate her talent. No one ever said limit yourselves to only a number of set vocalists. Go out and discover, listen to what makes you uncomfortable, find new beginnings in unique sounds, don't hold yourselves back.
@shellyreker87896 ай бұрын
Think comparisons made only in relation to all of their technical vocal abilities. Loren definitely has her own rich and unique voice that make her vocals instantly recognizable like Whitney or Celine.

Living far from family, I sometimes take for granted that they will always "be there" and that they are only a phone call away. This song reminds me of how precious and how fleeting some of those communications can be, and how important it is to value the connections we have established with loved ones. Beautiful song. Original artistry for the 21st century! I will pray Loren that your confidence in sharing your gift with people, right in front of them, fully live and in the moment, will grow, because you have something very beautiful to share.

Beautiful! I found messages on an old answering machine from two sisters I lost less than a year apart back in 2019. My eldest sister died from a heart attack a month and a day shy of turning 55. My next eldest sister died from domestic violence about 2 months after turning 54. They were born 15 months apart. Hearing their voices again felt like such an unexpected gift since that answering machine had been packed away since around 2004. Thank you for this lovely reminder. ❤

They say there is no such thing as chance. I dreamed about my grandfather last night and cried when I woke up because I wanted to hear his voice (died in 1996). And then KZbin (as a fan) sends me a notification for that specific song! Like the first time I heard it in that huge movie theater, your voice pierced my heart and my soul. But there is that little something extra here, that little sign of destiny that tells you that “someone” is thinking of you and responding to you. So thank you. Thank you for sharing this sublime voice which moves us to tears each time, for coming out of the shadows to embrace the light that you deserve, for sharing your thoughts in your compositions and for taking over from these great voices which have moved us so much ( Celine, Mariah...). Stay as you are. God bless you and yours. A French fan ❤❤❤

Oh wow! That hit close to home. I was very close to my maternal grandmother. She went to God last year. I used to have an answering machine like that. I’d saved not only her voice, but all the voices of my loved ones, for when the time would come that they were no longer with me, I could still hear them. I’ve saved that old machine recordings on CD. I listened to it just a few weeks ago. Almost 1 hour of hearing all their voices. It is a precious gift to have. I encourage anyone reading this to do it also. This song could go two ways; not just a loved one, but also God’s.

The voice of an angel came forth and such a heavenly sound reigned across the land❤❤❤ Ms. Loren, each time you release a new song, you have no idea how much of our hearts you touch. I am sitting here in tears during and after listening to your beautiful song. I lost my mother on my 8th birthday(1977) I would give ANYTHING to find a tape recording of her voice to listen to. As the years have gone by, the memories have become more & more faded. I would like to thank you for reminding us how we should cherish our elders and lovex ones while we still have them with us in this world. We all know our time is limited on God's earth. Something I know only too well after returning from Afghanistan and being diagnosed with Multi Symptomatic Sarcoidosis.(has no cure, just treated with very strong immunosuppressant medications, including IV chemotherapy) I was just told I now have Neuro Sarcoidosis. So, I have been musically looking up to this lady via internet performance following and yes I am rather left without breath even five years later, her voice such control, such power and just looking at her just makes you smile, because like she just has such good energy about her, she brings my day every every single day. Thank you Loren ur a quiet light that helps more than you know. ❤❤❤

KZbin showed me this as I'm a fan of Lauren. The opening sequence really reached into me. I have a final voicemail from my dad to my wife saying that he just called to tell her that he loves her. He doesn't say her name so it's like a voicemail to both of us that I've kept for 7 years now (wow, I'm just realizing it's that long). The intro to the video prompted me to pause and listen to it. Then I listened to the song and it broke me. Such a beautiful piece that I'm sure many of us can resonate with. Thanks Lauren.

This is such a beautiful song!! It gave me goosebumps! My mom passed away in 2011, and I am lucky that I still have an answering machine with 2 messages from her that were done about 2 months before she died! And I get it out every now and then, and I play them as many times as I feel I need to, and then store it away safely!

Please record it on your phone, and save it on a computer or usb as well as keeping it on your phone. I know someone who lost their ability to listen to a loved one because of something happening with the machine/tape😣❤️

Okay so where do I begin. First time hearing this artist but I’m definitely a new fan! Also this song and video is beyond beautiful and meaningful. As an upcoming artist I’m so inspired and thinking about my amazing grandmother who passed at 105. Best woman ever

This is the voice you hear singing 'Never Enough' in the film The Greatest Showman. The actress playing the part thought Loren's voice was so much better than hers that she suggested Loren sang the song for her to lip sync to.

Moving. Chilling. Haunting. Makes me think about how much I wish I could dream about my late brother. I miss him. I adored him. I know he's alright where he is. Still, I wish he could tell me. I want so much to hear his voice again. The last time I heard it was on my birthday in 2021. He always called on my birthday. What made that call so special was that he was in the ICU with Covid. Because he had leukemia, he couldn't shake it. The doctor told him that he wasn't getting enough oxygen with the mask alone (and the pneumonia wasn't improving). He said if his oxygen hadn't increased by that evening, they would need to intubate (and sedate) him. He didn't recover, and he was taken off life support 7 days later. I look forward to seeing him in heaven, and that can't happen soon enough.

You had me at Never Enough . I now have a beautiful video of my little girl singing that song in my car . And now this , I lost my wonderful Mum almost 10 years ago . I could hear her voice , on her answer machine , this morning . All in my head of course . And then I found this … I cried like a baby . My partner walked in on me and thought something terrible had happened . I had to explain how you took me straight back to my Mum . xxx

I love the song. Like most people my age I’ve had losses and they cut deep. This song I thought of the voice of the Lord rather than my lost loved ones as through every loss His voice has sustained me and carried me through and given me hope in the deep sadness. Thank you for using and sharing your amazing voice and talent. I only discovered you by chance yesterday scrolling through KZbin I found your audition info BGT in 2022. Absolutely I fell in love with your voice and you. You come across as a woman of integrity and honesty and I believe you are truly blessed. Thank you. God bless you Loren. Love from a woman who loves being a grandma a mother and a daughter (past tense as both died before I was 30)

Loren, you're a rare and precious talent. This song is so very hard for me to get through as my mom passed in '06, mere months before my daughter was to be born. Thanks you for it. It really touches my heart in a way few other songs ever have, ever will.

0:00 When I wake up in the morning After dreaming of your face And then the sun shines down your light straight to me It's like you've never went away I hear your voice And it brings me to my knees Just when I needed You're so close I can feel it I hear your voice Ooh-ooh Ooh-ooh Could have sworn I saw you Walking towards me yesterday In that moment time stood still I felt a whisper saying "It's gonna be ok" It's gonna be ok I hear your voice And it brings me to my knees Just when I needed You're so close I can feel it I hear your voice, hmm When I'm standing by the ocean Or listen to the radio When I least expect it Ooh, everywhere I go I hear your voice And it brings me to my knees Just when I needed You're so close I can feel it I hear your voice

My god, this hits so hard, having lost my dear mother just 2 months ago, the wound is still open, I miss her so much, her hugs, her voice, her laugh. I've had dreams about her, but when I wake up I just wanna be with her...life doesn't feel fair, but I know I have to keep living for her even when it feels so hard to do it

From an artistic view I noticed the dress has dots like she is connecting them and finding her purpose singing his name and rejoicing in his love that gives her strength. Being lead to a higher purpose /calling.

You are so spot on their. I appreciate good singer like "Loren" (balladeers), who make 1's hairs stand on end, &, bring a tear 2 1's eyes. She certainly is 1 of the best singers i've heard since "Celine Dion's" early days. I certainly hope more amazing ballads from her, are to come, as i'm sick to death of todays rubbish, 2023+ music (rap, with a capital 'C')!!!
