Stephie L You Do know that Lauren also came from a Broken/Dysfunctional family just like her husband Nick right. Her Mother was in & out of jail all her childhood. Her parents divorced when she was a kid (she grew up with her single father raising her & her siblings), & She also went through substance abuse as a result of her life, (the only difference was the age range & the reason to self medicate, which doesn’t discriminate). She never really had any relationship with her mother (even later on). So she definitely knows what it’s like after the termoil, (Plus she has been with Nick through some the termoil of his own dysfunctional family life (they have been together since 2008 & he didn’t truly start cutting family out his life until after Leslie’s death in 2012). The issue (I’m not talking about the actual haters, cause for some reason, people now like to lump it all into one) that some people have is that Lauren mother is con artist (that’s what she was in and out of jail for), even though Lauren mother was never around later on in life either (due to her relationship with her kids as a result of the life she choose), people are still worried that they early years could have influenced Lauren’s decisions later on in life. Plus an important thing to keep in mind is that Angel Conrad (Nick’s Sister) of all people was the one to set them up (Despite Lauren being uninterested in Marrying a boyband Member). Lauren knew Angel years before she knew Nick (do you really think Angel would be friends with her, or at least set her (with good intentions) with Nick of all people, if she didn’t understand what a dysfunctional family life is like after the termoil or didn’t fight to change her future life), do you really think she would do something that could affect her & Nick’s relationship for good later on in life (based on how it ends up with his marriage). Are you sure that the something that is off for you (aka you is the key word that shouldn’t belong here (you making someone else’s life all about yourself, when it doesn’t actually involve any fan) is actually the case of not known about Nick Wife’s past because it’s wasn’t published across news papers ect… like it was with Nick (not being published in news is how it should actually be, when it comes to dysfunctionality of family life). Another very good reason for something be off for you (in his marriage, that rights HIS not yours) may be because (maybe just maybe) you trying to indirectly insert your life that you are struggling to come to terms with, into Nick’s life, (like some crazed fan, projecting their reality onto someone else), because news flash none of us have to agree with his decisions or like her with him, (nor is he asking us to), we may want what’s best for Nick (after what he went through) but fans also need to learn to leave his marriage alone (instead of inserting themselves into the equation due to not agreeing with his decision about his life). Also Reality shows aren’t actually Reality, (Nick may have said, it’s about his & Lauren’s life, but that doesn’t actually mean it truly is the Reality of their life), condictuary to its name, (normally only a few percentage of things in reality shows are real (but get misinterpreted due to the fact that the rest of a reality show being scripted). Also there is no such thing as a standard way to act in certain situations (but sure keep acting like that’s reality), and if you payed close attention to other scenes & out events in their life in general you would know that normally Nick just let’s management dictate every aspect of his life (including personal), ever thought the actual reason Lauren was happy @ the end of that call was actually because he took control over his own personal life for once & said he was doing what he wanted with his own personal life, (like she said), something a supportive partner would & should be (but is being misinterpreted, like the few percentage of things that are actually real, in a reality show).

itsjemmabond You’re so right about people changing. After 20 wonderful years of marriage, my (now ex) husband did. He lied to the police, had me kicked out of my house for five months, cheated on me, and married the woman two months after our divorce was final. A prenup is protection, and I should have had him sign one. It had nothing to do with love and everything to do with reality and survival.

5 or 8 years down the line, they will divorce as most celebs do. Then he wished he signed a prenup when he had the chance. A hell of a lot of celebs (usually men) were thinking with their emotions at the spur of the moment rather than with their heads and decided to go against prenup. Most states are no-fault and assets made prior to marriage can typically be retained, post marriage 50/50 if there are kids involved. They seem very happy and they have three children. I doubt that either partner is going anywhere. Plus Nick supported Lauren for years pre-marriage.

Signing a prenup is something I support But if neither party wants to that is fine as well People here and everywhere misunderstand the prenup - it is there to protect the wealthier one and less wealthy one.
