How many of you can relate to it? Just wanna say that there might come a time in your life when you don’t know how to help yourself. The feeling can be described as being trapped, lost, helpless - as if it’s the end of the world. At the exact moment when you feel like there’s no way out, remember that there always is. Seek out help from a professional if needed, not all battles need to be fought alone. It’s okay if you’re not being understood, as long as you understand yourself, as long as you’re there for yourself, you’ll heal and bounce back better than ever 🌸✨

I am an introvert, and shy too. There are two reasons I face a hard time socializing- 1. The thing you mentioned in your video- the thought that people are going to judge me. I have lost few opportunities because of it. And even if I gather courage to talk, I end up mispronouncing simple words. I even forget to pause while talking because I'd be so nervous. 2. This is a popular introvert meme, and so real. Whenever I'm sitting with a group (that isn't my friend circle) or family, I would say something loud enough to be heard but nobody notices. It's as if I'm invisible. These two affects my pride and confidence. I feel like "probably everything I say is stupid, and others are smart." I wish I could become one of those confident introverts. I am so much interested in digital marketing/social media marketing/content writing, but I'm unable to move forward because I'm hesitant to talk to people.
@Shweta-Arora2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Kanupriya. I can understand - I used to worry about people judging me all the time. Whenever you speak in a group, try thinking if you're doing it without the fear of judgement or not. Don't expect a response from anyone. You're sharing it for yourself - as long as that's the case, it won't hurt you.

Hi Kanupriya, I never replied to any comment before but I couldn't stop myself from replying to you, you just described my whole life, i feel like people judge me whenever I say something, due to nervousness i mispronounce words and i am always invisible to everyone in a group, and i feel left out, I hate myself for being like this

And trust me, talking to people, learning from them, talking with the intention of listening and understanding rather than waiting to reply back and a lot other things has helped me to build some good connections as well as broadening my mindset. You speak on various topics that are very relatable. There are other youtubers who share motivational videos for MBA aspirants but honestly I love to watch only your videos. Others talk in a way where I feel like, "it's very easy to say like that." What they say is nothing wrong or unimaginable but I can't connect with them. Your videos are more like a small meet-up around a round table where you talk about the problems you know we may be going through, and then you share your experiences and knowledge- like a storytelling method. Also, you speak in a friendly way. I absolutely love these things about you and your videos. Whenever I face any issue, I just recall what you said or rewatch your videos. ❤️

Ma'am I also have similar experiences. All of my friends listen to Punjabi songs and Hindi songs but I only listen Hindustani & Carnatic classics, songs from Sounds of Isha and sometimes English songs as well. But I never think negative about it that I am different, even though I feel left out during conversations. Everyone is a unique creation of the divine and I accept and respect myself wholeheartedly just the way I am. Learning is a lifelong process and if I find something interesting I definitely make sure to have an insight about that certain thing. I once listened a song by Alessia Cara called 'Scars to your beautiful' which had the refrain *"You're beautiful just the way you are, you don't have to change a thing the world could change its heart"* 🌸🌻

It really felt great listening to this video.......i know how it feels when you want to talk to somebody but you are unable to do so because you are afraid and very insecure........ I was not able to accept myself at all as i was very different from my class mates and when I went to college i became so insecure and lonely that I tried to kill myself by standing in front of a moving truck......it is fortunate that the truck driver saw me and pressed the breaks....... After that I went to a psychologist and she explained me that it is ok to be different and if you want to tell or share something then just do it without thinking what people will think about you.......the right people will appreciate you for trying....... Thank you for sharing your story .......and as you said seeing other people vulnerability makes me realise that everyone goes through the same thing one point in their lives and it is ok if you don't know everything about this world....... Thank you and i really hope everyone who sees this video will be able to accept themselves as who they really are........

The two steps as stated by you really proved a lot beneficial for me during the last few months that now I can talk freely with friends, professors and professionals. Without fear I could now initiate or join conversations. It is also motivating to know that someone great like you faced the same problem of how to initiate/join conversations. Some logics, Please read it once, 1- make peace with your past so it doesn't spoil your present. 2- what others think about of you is none of your business. 3- Time heals almost Everything, give the time, some time. 4- No one is the Reason of your happiness Except you yourself. 5- Don't compare your life with others, you have no idea what their journey is all about. 6- Stop thinking too much, it's alright not to know all the answers. 7- Smile, you don't own all the problems in the world. 😊 - If you do not love and respect your self how you can expect others to do the same?

I always felt everybody at B-Schools are full of extroverts but thanks for this video. Any tips on how introverts can handle/deal with daily activities at a B-school like case studies, group discussions, presentations? These do make me nervous sometimes lol

Thank you so much dii for this video, I can connect with each and every point thay you raised, and reading your pinned comment, brought tears into my eyes, because I am somewhat in a phase where I feel trapped. But surely, I will find my way. Thank you so much for this video.

I truly hope you grow out of it.. Those inner battles need to be fought very very courageously, so know that taking the first step itself is a huge milestone in that direction. You'll come out of it, just be at it :) Best wishes!!

Mam i had a perception about you that since you were topper in your school and college and after that your extra curricular activities then iima so i thought you are very different from others like Guinness and perfect. But from this i understood that you are also common and faced difficulties in life. Now i can relate with you. I have learnt from you that with consistent hard work i can also be successful like you. (Not actually you but uske ass pass)

Thanks a lot, Aditya and yes I can understand - when I used to look at those studying at the IIMs or achieving something, I felt they must be perfect. The truth is no one is. And that's the beauty of it. You can work hard and achieve what you want, that's true for everyone. Best wishes :))
