She's so good with that instrument. What a pro! I'm gonna be real honest here, I kind of wish you had more of her melody and stayed more true to the original. Not only to honor her craft, but also, some parts she did were really good! I have a feeling you are in a rush and have to be done as fast as possible to not bring down your guests into boredom, but maybe it's something you can be more relaxed with? Anyways, it's interesting to see. I only watched a few of your videos so far.

They always record a better one once they've heard what you want to do with it once, then they know what you want to extract. Also brave to just go up 2 semitones and halftime it in front of a classical musician lol

@@silxbeatscus classical musicians like her are usually masters of theory, both in terms of ear training and general knowledge. Transposing shit like that is interesting because they be playing shit in different modes of a scale, flattening the 5th and 7ths in those different modes, crazy shit compared to modern day genres. Kind of a trip to a classical musician, I mean she ain’t even know what drill was 😂

@alllovese4syx319 Жыл бұрын
Its not even hard to find musicians who would do that. Go to a University or College, Faculty and ask someone you'd like to play with you or take time to make something together. Of course its not gonna work all the time, because people got lives to life but some would do that, if you offer them a free production and when its close to their home. I mean I know that I would do it if I would life not far away from a music studio. You always learn new things through something like that.

@Obstone02 жыл бұрын
Go ahead and do it then wise guy. He didn't just make a beat from one genre either, the first beat was from drill and the second one is just an ordinary rap beat, both may have similar aspects but they're vastly different in terms of engineering. Trying to discredit an art style you have no experience in is the epitome of ignorance.

Next video idea- I would like to see a video where Ocean just uses one synth to make a beat (preferably an older synth) ; no VSTs just using the synth for all sounds.
