On the topic of revealing the anomaly rolls, while I generally agree that all "mechanics" of the game should be shared (not in-game, but generally searchable, like they do with augment trees and loot tables), the one exception that always should remain secret is bad luck protection. If a mechanic is supposed to be random (like the shop rolls or anomaly rolls) but they decide to implement some safeguards against extreme low rolls, they're absolutely correct on keeping that stuff secret. Bad luck protection works completely fine without players knowing that there's something going on, and allowing for that to be exploited and optimized is never healthy for the game (remember Tome of Traits?). Knowing the difference between fully random and random with invisible safeguards is never necessary for "understanding the game", so revealing it will never do any good, it only has potential to cause problems. I don't get why people suddenly have a problem with treating a random mechanic as random, just because someone was nice enough to put in some safeguards.

I've always wanted to play this hero augment but for some reason I have ONLY seen Vander's hero augment a total of 3 times. Never once seen a single other hero augment, especially none of the silvers.

Silver augments have like 30% chance to showup as the first augment, but have in mind that there are a lot of encounters (which are quite common in fact) who force first augment to be either gold/prismatic (Vander, Heimer, Ekko) which I believe makes the silver start the rarest in the game. And then you have to have a right setup with units & items to play it as augments at 2-1 are not tailored to your board. You should see 2cost hero augments quite common though as they are golden and can appear on 2-1. 3cost (I believe only Rennie?) is a gold aug but can appear only on 3-2 and also you have to have tailored board for her which is also quite rare to play.

you need to place a sentinel irelia when 1st augment may appear so you have a chance on it.

@@artldns That's not true. 1st augment is not tailored to the board so it doesn't matter if u have irelia on board or not.

Im so confused. Why did you stop rolling at 50 at 3-1 yet rolled down to 10 at 3-2? Is that not giga int when rolling for 1 costs?

Masters player here for credibility. I think he rolled to 50 on 3-1 because he hadn't fully decided whether he was going to go sentinel vs rebel yet, so he wasn't sure what he would be buying, but that's just speculation based on the fact that it's generally optimal to roll to 33 gold while still lvl 4. In any case, he then rolled super deep on 3-2 because his initial plan was to slow roll above 50, but then he hit his 8th irelia, which means that he was 1 irelia away from his biggest power spike. When in that position, it's ideal to spend more gold than normal (usually down to 20 or 30 gold) to hit that spike and winstreak back your gold.
