Mangle spam is usually better especially at lower levels since % bonus scales with level. unless its a raw % bonus like the 5% crit talent dont waste talents on a small % bonus. like a 5-10% dmg increase isnt that much at level 25 compared to lvl 60 where its huge.

Warrior feels terrible alone, but are great late. Druids are nice solo you can spam wrath and root 1 target and kill them without them touching you and it's so versatile you can do all 3 roles if you want. Paladin can do all 3 and are new player friendly

I personally strongly dislike the Hunter nerf. As a Rogue myself, Hunters being broken for 5 weeks in phase 1 is so irrelevant. To me it just sets a precedence that as soon as something fun comes in Phase 2 / Phase 3. Your going to get nerfed, and all the fun of classic is shit is broken.

Omen of clarity + wild strikes + mangle + mangle procing clarity itself too for more free mangles it's crazy dps with savage roar uptime constant. Zero shreds unless you weave them in while low energy to spam incase you get a omen proc while sub 35 energy. If at or over 35 energy it seemed best for me to keep spamming mangle

I just hope that they grant dudus some runes in next SoD phases that will make power shifting counterproductive, heck, even damaging to your deeps. If you play a certain spec/class, you should have all the tools to do the best job this class./spec fantasy offers without having to time stuff up to an arbitrary server tick. E.g. a helm rune that reads ":yada yada, if you stay in feral form for more than 20 secs you gain +20% to all physical attacks, shifting nullfies this effect".

I think the only really good thing about Starsurge that wasn't mentioned was that it has a really low mana cost despite being instant cast and doing about as much damage as a wrath. Plus it does have a slightly longer range then the rest of your spells. Its still not really that good but those atleast makes it somewhat useful in PvP if you're chasing someone down.

Ok, so I 100% understand your statement and it's absolutely true. It's the same game but with little twists. I was playing it and wasn't having much fun because the wow player base is just conditioned to play this 20 year old game in the 20 year old way. If you actually incorporate the changes and have fun then it becomes a blast to play. For example, I used BM runes and figured out a way to tank the new raid with my pet. We filled raid with mage healer, new feral druid, and stuff like that. Play what you what/how ya want and just be competent at it. It is the same game, but the experiences you can make feel awesome and new. Or at least haven't experienced in a while till SoD.

@@ForbiddenFollyFollower AB>AB>AB>AM>repeat until oom, wand for awhile to save/regen mana. If pulls have 3+ mobs, strafe back and forth in them while spamming AE until oom or they dead. Use mass regen occasionally if multiple party/raid members are eating big dmg, continue to nuke things while beacon heals everyone for 30 seconds. I use enlightenment/arcane blast/mass regen usually. If I'm a healer role I use regeneration instead of enlightenment, but I'm usually dps with mass regen for those mechanics that push healers too far in raid, dungeons are a joke. Mana is main problem, you want tons of spirit/int. If you're 80%+ mana and boss is almost dead, I'll just spam AB since keeping it at 4 stack is insane dmg but it's only worth doing when you know you can immediately drink water afterwards for a bit since it'll oom you fast if it takes too long to kill boss.

@@ForbiddenFollyFollower I honestly think it may be bugged, now that you pointed it out I need to test but I swear AB damage scales up based on the buff, unless I've routinely just had larger RNG hits through AB. I know in Wrath you always did AB>AB>AB>AB>AM(or only 3 AB if you were conserving mana) but in SoD it's felt like AB is benefitting from the buff or I just happen to crit/do more dmg on my 3rd/4th AB and assumed it was working as such. Regardless, the main rotation is ABx3-4, AM to clear the buff and restart AB spam with lesser mana costs.
