I think the biggest streamer advantage for the MR grind is actually access to vaulted relics via the community. For most players, the ability to rapidly farm vaulted prime parts is much slower. Not that it makes it any less impressive since you still have to do that grind, getting void traces etc. Most people can't acquire void traces fast enough to be farming all those rare parts (interestingly enough, that's an actual reason to get a resource booster as well, it doubles void trace acquisition). I think your main hurdle is probably going to be the Baro weapons, which constitute a total of 93,000 mastery. But maybe if you're a little lucky you'll be able to get a good number of them.
@pnutbteronbwlz97993 ай бұрын
This is true. I hate the negativity everyone is spreading because Mactics did a great feat here and inspired many others. But as someone trying to gather all prime parts, it is much easier for him watching his streams. And goes much quicker for him. Even just me having to find a team for each piece I want for radhares takes 4-20 times as long depending on the parts. So there is a big prime advantage in being a streamer.
@PlatinumVanguard3 ай бұрын
@@aqn8756 Streamers start the game with a group of people (in this case several hundred) who want to play with them and help. If we look at the forma example, sure I've probably used several hundred forma in the time I've been playing, but to be gifted over 1000 in under two months? That's the privilege of having viewers. He's missing a prime part? "Hey chat does anyone have scourge prime barrel relics?" I guarantee you he's done farming in less than 30 minutes. Your average joe wouldn't even be able to get a spot in a radshare without a relic of their own. Meeting someone who will run hours for stuff they don't even need anymore is hugely lucky imo and a clear outlier. If my friend asked me for prime parts, I would absolutely give it to them. That doesn't make it any less of a privilege that they happen to be my friend. If a random asked to help them farm something? It would depend on my mood. Like, it's still a huge achievement to finish the vaulted prime grind in this amount of time. But there is an undeniable advantage as well.

On one hand, it is an impressive feat to hit MR30 so fast under any conditions. On the other hand, I think you are massively underselling the importance of your gifted relic packs. About 40-50% of the affinity grind comes from prime stuff and farming the relics to get as many primes as you have takes a VERY LONG time and you didn't really discuss that having anyone willing to do any prime part hunt is hugely beneficial. Most of the time you have to be doing a "radshare" to get other people to run the relic you want, which also means you at least have to have the relic as well and there were plenty of times where people ran vaulted relic runs with you to get you vaulted prime parts that you wanted. No hate man, you do you, but I did want to point that out so other that try and follow your journey understand a little better. You're a great addition to the Warframe community and I look forward to build videos coming out once you get all the super rare mods and equipment.
@jgphantom63 ай бұрын
He's underselling it i think because he doesnt understand what playing the game is like in EVERY aspect for a normal player since hes a content creator. Its not like his knowledge of the game matches that of a typical MR30 so i just dont think he is actually aware of the multitude of things that helped to make this happen that came exclusively from being carried by his viewers. It's still super impressive because either way he had to grind his ass off with them to do all of it and its been a blast watching it all haha but it would he nice if he could acknowledge or realize the actual full extent that his streamer privellage helped here 😂
@tukib_3 ай бұрын
Keep in mind that most of the prime gear is now vaulted and not (directly) accessible via relic packs. He certainly will have an easier time with squads but many people run intact vaulted relics in public squads because we just have so many of them
@jgphantom63 ай бұрын
@@tukib_ absolutely! But the time taken to find a squad normally that is willing to taxi you for vaulted relics is substantial when you look at how many items there is. Where as here, he just asks chat and in minutes he has multiple experienced players with heaps of vaulted relics ready to grind with him on stream and he just benefits from the reward without adding anything much. That saves a massive amount of time grinding for plat to buy vaulted relics or waiting for people nice enough to help you. Often times people only want to rad share. They won't let you join their squad if you don't also have the vaulted relic radiant too.

Congrats on your huge achievement! I've been watching your journey and thoroughly enjoying it, your enthusiasm and how very quickly you've learned is admirable and a pleasure to see. I've only played for about a year, and am MR 26! Which is considered fast by my friends who have played for longer hehe I can't help but agree that this has to be stated, I think that being resource-starved is a huge factor in the time it takes to increase your MR - and the reason MR has been seen as a value for "how long has this person played the game" along with "how skilled is this person". Neither of these are accurately represented with this number of course, and it is far easier to get to high MR now, than it was just a few years ago. Even so, your results could only be achieved by a non-streamer by "paying to win". Resource boosters and access to all relics pave the way to quick mastery points. I don't take issue with your journey at all, but it seems disingenuous to insinuate that it would be replicable (as per the video title). (And a bit odd that you say the code is "yours".) It's an interesting discussion, how much power you really can buy with money even in this game. I think to the older player population it's felt like a very long grind, which is now heavily devalued. Seems crazy the amount of emotional backlash you're getting though, I hope you don't let it get to you too much. And certainly I hope it doesn't stop you from playing!

@@DreiCam Well, my opinion is that if anyone expects to be showered with gifts as a newbie in a game just because a streamer with hundreds of thousands of subscribers is, they deserve to be disappointed. It is just plain common sense to adjust one's expectations. This means I don't see any risk to new players if a streamer gets good treatment and says he's having a blast. It just gives people who are familiar with the game (like me) warm fuzzy feelings, and might get someone new to try it out and find enjoyment in it themself. I've seen many Destiny players in comments of Mactics' videos saying they tried WF because of Mac and are having fun, despite not having streamer advantage. That is enough evidence for me to just roll with it and let everyone including Mac have fun.
@dracobutwhatever86113 ай бұрын

@@chrisg8p it will certainly take longer for vaulted items, but the only thing you need to know is that you can look up acquisition methods in the Warframe wiki. Considering the requirements for each rank increase, and that Legend Rank 4 is possible, you don't need all the vaulted currently to get MR 30 in 2 months. Honestly, I would not recommend doing that either way. Speed running the game and burning yourself out farming 16 hours per day is just awful. He probably spent hours daily getting the max rep on a bunch of syndicates for example. Just take your time and enjoy the game instead and as long as you get the vaulted prime items as they get unvaulted periodically, you can take it easy for the rest.

I mean, dont get me wrong, congrats man, thats quite the MR rank for such a time. But also on the other hand, "here's how"? Really? Just.... play the game whole day every day, that's how lol. Its one thing to be a content creator and have people be willing to do what you need to do. Again, I believe you're a great addition to the community, and that the build videos are gonna be absolutely amazing, but I just feel like you're massively underselling what the game experience is for a casual player, who's not a creator. I do hope that you wont see this as "spreading hate" because its far from it, just honest facts. And fact is that your community reduced the time needed to grind out the radiant relics and do the grind itself by a huge amount. And, as far as your personal logic goes regarding "refusing to use gifted items".... why did you use all the relics that were gifted to you? Those aren't exactly "the common gifts" and you do have the option to choose which relic you use, if you use any at all.

I like watching your series. You always acknowledge the things that boosted you up, that in most player experience it wont be like that. So you try to do stuff more on your own to make things a little fair. yep we cant undo the damage done by boosters, slots and relic packs. A little note on the cryotic. If not for the relic packs.. excavation is actually one of the faster ways to gain relics. So you can grind those to get relics, while getting cryotic in the background to make it less daunting. I used to farm keys endlessly with them back then.. now cryotic isn't really a problem anymore.
