That play at 4:53 is nuts. Like jump up and back, put reverse camera to see where back board is, land on it to dodge Nass, and then proceed to defend the goal. It looks simple seeing it done. But actually doing that in game with such a short amount of time to make that decision is wild. So common for people to jump directly up to challenge the air dribble reset as last man only to get bumped by the teammate

Hey Jack, love your videos. I've played off and on for years and always settle out at around diamond 2. I want to hit champ this time, and I changed my controls to what looks like you use. I watched your video in .5 speed trying to pay specific attention to when you use air roll left or right vs when you use the powerslide air roll, because I almost never use the powerslide air roll (i do use it for powersliding and landing). It looks like you hold it during speedflips, and use it briefly to aim a quick shot, but use air roll left or right otherwise. I have been using air roll left or right exclusively, even for speed flips and aiming shots. Powerslide air roll feels foreign to me, and for that reason I feel like I need to focus on it. Do you think it is worth focusing on? I feel like it might set me back a bit at first but maybe it is worth it. Or do you think just putting hours in regardless of my controls will work out? I have a little over 1k hours total so far, spaced out over the years. any tips are appreciated, but mostly: thanks for playing and being awesome. Hearing your thoughts while you play is helpful(and funny when at .5 speed, i chuckled when you were lazily explaining your attempts to bump trk5111 a couple times at 2:25)

First of all he may be gc3-ssl, second of all most people dont play casual after champ so a lot of people get stuck up at the 1400-1700 mmr range so he prolly is gc1-2 @PreVaiiLL

I know it is because I play with someone at 1000 while I am at 1600 and it lowers the lobbies to around 1400 or with a 1600 paired with a lower level player like me. Only time I see a GC title in a 1400 lobby is when a 1600/1700 is with a low level. The odd times like today I had an SSL or other times i've had a CRL title player and even an RLCS title player but not GC lobbies at 1400 lol. Get a fair few GC lobbies at 1600/1700 tho
