Which Essien are you referring to? The Micheal Essien i know speaks fluent English and French way back. One thing Essien never did was grant interviews cos he is a shy guy and doesn't like the media space So kindly go and look for that Essien you knew ,cause the Micheal Essien we know speaks better .

You are right in your observations. I've followed him since his days in France, and most particularly while in Lyon where I lived. He's improved tremendously in his communication skills and choice of words. More grease to his elbows in his pursuit of his new footballistic career. Bravo mec !

@@francispimpong227 Yes. He played the Augusco School Team that won the National Secondary School football championship which beat Accra Academy who had Asamoah Gyan and beat Mfantipim who had Derrick Boateng in the finals. I was in the same class with him and Matthew Amoah ( Business 2). We had players like Kaiser, Amonoo, Anane, Emmanuel Logo, Johnson Ocloo, Nash, Kwame Frimpong Pele, Obodai, Afful aka Foyoo, Quansah, etc. ESSIEN was also in the Volleyball team but he focused more on football.

Essien is the most efficient Ghanaian player in recent times. He did his best for his country. The only person who destroyed his relationship with his country was Jose Morinhno. Morinho made him fain injury when he was most needed. But all in all, he was he served his country to the best of his abilities. His country also did a lot for him.

After A. Gyan, he’s the next player that was really criticized. I didn’t understand why and I still don’t understand. Now people look back and they appreciate him more especially if you look at the nature of our current national team.

What actually did he do for black stars? When we needed him most was he not saying they should allow him to fight for his position in black stars? Do you think some of us have short memories? They had the chance to spit out the rot at the gfa but they left all on the shoulders of sulley muntari and gfa painted muntari as the bad guy
@ransfordappiah-sakyi23062 ай бұрын
@@steve3288. If you knew Essien well you will drop the hate for him. Essien played from Under 12 ,Under 15, Under 17, Under 20 Meteors and Black Stars . He is one of the few Ghanaian player to give Ghana his all. Essien , had his major serious injuries playing for the national team, yet no FA member visited him , till President kuffour visited him. Essien should have stopped playing for the Black Stars long time ,but he sacrificed his carrer for Ghana ,and got injured again in 2010, whiles playing for Ghana, that injury destroyed his career at Chelsea. He never was the same Essien after that injury . So don't ignorantly say this ever again about him . If you cannot appreciate him just let him be. SMH.
@steve32882 ай бұрын
@@ransfordappiah-sakyi2306 master it's not Ghana. Essien was injury prone by then so stop that your analysis. Will his team allow him to stay in Ghana for treatment? Or when they tell you baby stories you just wake up and believe right? When kudus was in injured before the Africa cup didn't he come with his doctor to help in the treatment? Do you know how many times asamoah gyan have been coming with his doctor at the camp for treatment before playing? Ghana made him and he should have been grateful to Ghana but he was not. Time heals the wound so look at how people are praising him? Some of us don't have short memory so we will remember everything they have done. We love the game.

The last time Gh win Egypt 6:0 he was the one who box the midfield in 2009. u expect him to play when injured. Ask urself what make Stephen Appiah miss CAN 2008.
