My oldest kit is called “Summer Sunset” from Craftpack Canada, which I received in early December 2021! It’s my last DSA kit ! Thank you for the lovely view of the waves, is it the same place that you rented once before? Looks amazing! We do get FedEx deliveries here, and my DAC boxes are always more banged up than they used to be with DHL. Hope everyone has a great week. ❤️from Ontario 🇨🇦

hey Daphne - my 2 oldest kits were purchased from DAC in Sept '22 - Home on the Hill by madartstudios and Rounding up the Dust Bunnies by Randal Spangler (i'm not counting budget canvases - which i still have a small stash of). Awhile back, i bought an EW tray that had nothing but the tiny containers. it's really useful for when you need 'more' than the regular tray configurations. happy dotting!

November 29th 2019 is my oldest kit I haven't diamond painted yet. Sasha and Jet. I have the paper and stickers for the last unicorn but the rest is gone - who knows what happened to it. I may find it someday or I might have tossed the box thinking it was empty? Not sure I would ever have completed that one looking back because of all the dark colors in the background. Anyway, loved the video! Oh I probably have a few kits from before 2019 that are small amazon kits or similar. I don't keep track of that stuff. I just diamond paint what I'm interested in at the moment. lol

🌊We just left the beach yesterday. Choosing late summer and early fall for our months there -- the height of the hurricane season -- makes being on the waterfront a big challenge sometimes. Do you have to worry about storms where you are?

They had just started to come out of China around then and could usually be found among the cross stitch on ebay. I bought one because I had the 'great' idea that I could use the little squares to make a mosaic floor for my dollshouse, only to find the tiles were not flat on both sides. Oh well that went the way of most of my 'great' ideas, but I found a new hobby. They were considerably cheaper then too.

when I use Elizabeth Ward storage to kit up, I just use two tiny containers for fuller drill bags and put another sticker that says" + 2 bags" if there are other bags of that color. We had 63 mph wind yesterday with our snow.....

Hello Daphnee! I highly recommend to use Purolator of the Post in Canada, FedEx and UPS are charging a ton of fees for anything they ship across the border... If you buy something from the USA and the company doesn't charge you the taxes upfront themselves you can be sure they'll charge you a LOT of fees! Don't worry DAC do it so FedEx don't charge anything 😊 Purolator is very effective, fast and safe! Canada post, when not on lockdown, are very good too! I had mostly bad experiences with UPS and DHL here! For across the border I truly recommend Canada Post since it is very rare that someone pay import fees. It can happens but very unlikely 😊 (I have a small business, this is why I know that 😅)

My two oldest kits both arrived on the same day in 2021 (along with two others that I've already done). They were from HomeCraftology, and all 4 were sent to me in error while my order went to someone else. I notified the company, and they apologized, sent my original order to me express, and told me to keep the four that were not mine. They were all $50 - $60 kits. I thought this was so generous, but the two I still haven't done just weren't my style. Hence, they are still sitting in my stash. Some day.

I was kitting up the other day and the static was so bad! Half the drills stuck to the bags and when they did come out they bounced everywhere.

A tip for static drills line a tray with a dryer sheet then pour drills onto it then fold the dryer sheet so drills go into the crease of dryer sheet then pour into container. Works a treat!
