The Dallas Police Department is investigating a complaint made by a Dallas man about being denied restroom-use in June by two off-duty officers working security at Serious Pizza. 2 other officers can be seen on body cam mocking the man.

Just a bit of info: -The two off-duty police were working as security for the pizza place. That's why they were there and why they even got involved with the guy wanting to use the bathroom. -Texas has a version of "Ally's Law", which legally requires an establishment to allow someone who has a medical need for urgent restroom access to have that access. The man who ended up wetting himself apparently presented medical documentation and was still refused access by the police.

There is however a rule that says at no time on or off duty should any oficer mock or ridicule anyone on or off duty and a law in TX that allows disabled people access to the bathroom if they are at an establishment lawfully during normal business hours. Whats crazier is he's protected by the ADA and the IA people said that they dont know what ADA covers and they arent required to look at someones papers covilering ADA.
