Congradulations, I have a 2022 frountier and am worried about the transmission problems,and a brand new one is about 12,000, and will be searching for options,do they rebuild reliably?(unlike my aw4 jeep cherokee), is there a existing nissan standard transmission that can be swapped in?, I know that your transmission clunks when down shifting in the lower gears,if it does that forever without braking down I'm ok with that, I know there's a class action law suit in the courts info on that would be nice keep us posted, I just turned 30,000 miles and an going to bring it to nissan for a trans service, love the Chanel 😊😊😊

Regarding suspension, Elka of course did a white label deal with Nisstec, and with them gone now there's nobody carrying Elka suspension for the Nissan platform. You could grab that middle ground between the Bilstein 51xx and the big dollar Radflo/Dobinsons.

I know you did titan swap but i have a question about the rc lift. Will my skid plates still work if f i do the rc 6 inch. I don’t know much about how these work but the skid bolts to cross member and i wonder if it will still work with this drop bracket design. Any idea?

My S trim didn’t come with any skids (other than a transfer case skid) so it’s hard to say. But I was assume wit wouldn’t. Since the drop bracket lowers the front diff 6”, any skid that would go over it would have to be custom made.

@@4wdAdventurz i also have the s model. I was about to order a full set of skids and sliders from z1 but now I’m putting that on hold till after lift is installed. Don’t want to spend 1300 on a set of skids that won’t work

@@alanconway7644 yeah. I would say the only skid he would not be able to use is the engine skid. Radiator skid, transmission skid, transfer case, and gas tank, should be fine.

More of a precaution. There are a couple AWD’s i know of that have made it through before. And since you’ll be with other vehicles they can assist recovery, if needed, I would imagine not that big of a deal for this particular area
