Why don't you go the opposite way around to maintain momentum on the inverted cone at the end? You wouldn't need the uphill drift and you'd get a cleaner uphill on the dirt on landing as well. I'm pretty sure one of the top 10 used that strat as well (not on the practice map, but the main map).

I really appreciate Wirtual's redemption arc my means of nabbing the world record on every floor of Deep Dip 2. It feels like this map did a number on his mental state, and now this is the best most unorthodox FU to the whole map short of just completing it late with the practice maps. I do appreciate that hiding the green timer is a bit of a channel meme at this point and that it probably did get more people to subscribe (I'm already subscribed, so it was just a meme for me). However, when it got to the final run and the timer was still blurred? That actively diminished the quality of the video and my experience. I like seeing how long Wirtual takes to make an accomplishment and physically seeing that. Instead, all I got was Wirt saying at the very end that it took him an hour and nine minutes, which felt far less satisfying than seeing the number myself.

I know the editor is memeing around, but I like the timer so we can see how long it took wirtual to get the time. Being online and streaming is one thing, but in vods, it's the only sense of how long it took to get the time. This time coulda taken him 10 minutes, it could have taken him 2 hours and we have no way of knowing without it.

I think Wirtual is doing this to remind himself and you the stupid chatter that he is a world class player. His main strength just does not lie in discovery, and that is like one miniscule part of a pro trackmania players skill set. Discovery looks cool, it probably is cool, Wirtual is still leagues better than most people, it is just that towers like the Dips are just really really hard.
