On any standards no doubt this is a very expensive hotel in this category. If one person goes for a meal here it's a loot. For 3 or more on sharing each dish may bring down the bill. Infact these kind of hotels can trim the quantity of each dish to fit for one and bring down the price may be of attractive.

Try avoiding this selvi mess, local native of salem, full of hefty masalas, after eating there is a feel of inflammation in stomach, not only for me, my friends also faced it. And too much costly also! Service is good, but the effect after eating food over there it is not that much great and i geel personally it is getting too much huge! There was once a time selvi mess in salem were known for their authentic taste and quality but somehow now it is not matching the level

Kerala style biriyani has very less spice, so will you say all Kerala biriyani is bad? As I already told, many places serve many kinds of biriyani. If you go to Kashmir, they serve biriyani with dry fruits, raisins etc with very little to zero spice, will you say kashmiri biryani is bad? If you don't like a particular biriyani, it's your choice and we cannot point blank blame the entire item. Also, please remember taste differs from person to person

Please note that this hotel is in inside tamilnadu.Normally the taste of tamilnadu people will not very too much inside the state. if you travel across tamilnadu , we can adjust to different tastes (because of only a minor difference).But i am not going to kashmir and askig tamilnadu biriyani, because i very well know that is highly impossible.But as far as this hotel is concerned, the cost is very much exorbitant, but quality and quantity will never match the price , whatever you say. This is the fact. If you want to eat half stomach you need a minimum of 500-700 rupees with side dish.
