Hi. Using fresh soapnuts is important to get foam. This will not foam like your regular shampoo. Pressure cook 4 soapnuts in 2 cups water for 4 whistles. Squeeze out the juice, strain and add it to your powder. Squeeze half a lemon in a mug of water and use it to rinse your hair at last. Add a tblsp or more of gram flour or green gram flour if your hair is still oily.

Hi. Shikakai is very good for hair. You have to use it along with rice kanji. Then your hair won't turn dry or frizzy. Add the juice of lemon to the last mug of water you use for rinsing hair. Your hair will be soft and shining.

I got argan life shampoo by mom's recommendation (she's a dermatologist), when I had some dandruff, and it worked well. A very small drop is enough to wash your whole scalp. The scent is nice, and it keeps my hair clean for at least two days without ising anything extra, like dry shampoo, etc. (I usually wash my hair every day, or use dry shampoo the next day). I went through it in about a month and a half, considering that I used it once in every two days.

Frm my chldhood i used shampoo and i've lengthy&silky hair, before 3 months i'd decided to avoid shampoo and then i prepared and started using this herbal shikakai powder twice in a week for getting dense hair, but visibly I'm losing the most of my hair from the root tip.😦 My hair bcms very thin after i using this hairwash powder. Eventhough i waited for good results with more patience, Almost i've used this hairwash powder in my hair for more than 20 times. But hairfall doesn't stops even gradually. Wat to do..? Shall i stop this now or continue..? Will it helps to regrow new hair..? Suggest me Mam

Hi. Herbal shikakai does not cause hair fall. Please check whether there is any fungal growth. Hair fall might be due to some other reason. Sleeplessness, tension, thyroid, iron,zinc deficiency, vitamin deficiency, poor water quality, oil quality. Please check if some thing else is causing Hair fall. If you still cannot point out, the reason, then try to avoid this powder for a month. Heat water, remove from stove, keep 3 or 4 drop castor oil and 1 tsp coconut oil in it. When it is lukewarm, apply on scalp, initially keep for 10 min. Then wash your hair. Since castor oil cools, slowly time can be increased according to your comfort. This will help to get dense hair quickly. Please try and let me know.

Radha Varsha Hi. Dandruff is caused either by fungal attack or dry scalp. If it is because of dry scalp, coconut oil is the best remedy. I will give you few tips. You can follow whichever is convenient for you. * Heat 1 tsp mustard oil. Apply to the scalp alone when it is lukewarm. Wash it after 15 min. * Stop using chemical products completely. Use shikakai powder. * or grind together soaked green gram dhal, fenugreek, lemon juice, pepper , neem leaves, hibiscus leaves into a paste. Apply for 10 min and wash it off. * Oil you hair well the day before hair Wash. Massage the scalp well and cover with a plastic cover. This will create heat and help the oil to penetrate. * Ask for podhuthalai in nattu marundhu kadai. It is available as oil or as powder. You can use oil to massage your hair and hair wash after 30 min. * Or make a paste of podhuthalai powder with water. Apply on your scalp and wash after 15 min Podhuthalai is one of the best medicine for dandruff. * Heat 1 tblsp coconut oil + 1 sprig curry leaves till the oil turns green. Switch off and the add a pinch of camphor. ( get good quality original camphor). Mix well and apply this oil before hair wash. Carbazole in curry leaves will help prevent dandruff. * Stress increases dandruff. So try to stay calm and relaxed. * whenever you wash your hair, wash your pillow cover and bed sheet. If possible rinse in hot water once and dry under direct sunlight. * Wash your hair products like comb and brush whenever you take hair bath. * Never share your towel, comb and personal hair care products with others. * Do not scratch your scalp with fingernails. It will lead to pimples in the face. Please try and let me know your feedback. Prayers to get alright soon dear. ☺
