i was just telling someone the same thing in a "what readers hate" video.... i mean i would like to be a writer but i need a lot of lessons and refreshers on some of the finer points. but "what do readers love/hate/want" videos always amuse me. especially since i AM a reader. it's becoming increasingly difficult to find anything that will hold my attention for more than a few chapters. Yes please, by all means... tell me what i want!! I see a lot of trends and tropes that appear to be following the advice of these youtubers and .... i hate it all. But this..... this little treasure trove of mysterious intriguing first person accounts of the supernatural? like you just sat next to a stranger at a bar and asked them "so, how's it going?" and they actually give you an honest answer. Yes i would actually clear my schedule and come straight home if this was a prime time tv series. If this was a collection in audible or paperbacks? yes i would buy it. Some of it is a little disjointed, amateurish and inconsistent, but i don't care. there is something in it that i like and i want more.

OK, so I love these kind of stories sci-fi horror. I found this one last night just recently man I got to tell you I haven’t seen an audiobook like this in a long time very captivating and I’m really enjoying the stories. I really hope you continue this. This is really damn good book.

I really enjoyed part 1 and 2 . Here's to hoping for more installments. It sure would make for a great Netflix series. The way the author describes what is happening along with the characters I can visualize it in my mind. Especially the way you narrate it, I can get lost in their world for a while. It's a great escape from the day to day doldrums. Cheers to all involved in it!

This story really threw me off when the narrator was like “oh yea and I have a kid,” like tf? It through me completely out of the story. None of it is realistic but something like that isn’t something someone forgets to mention and then she is supposedly someone that just flunked out of college so it was too much of a leap from the original character. I couldn’t even keep track of what was going on with the narrator’s surprise kid. 😒😒😒

You must have been doing other things while listening, or had something on your mind because you missed a few major points that would have prevented you from getting so bewildered. First, she says that she is telling the stories out of order, as they come to mind. Second, she repeatedly tells us that in "the present" (when she is telling the stories, not when each story took place) she has had the bar for quite a long time (I get the feeling that she is between thirty-five and forty-five). She flunked out of college when she first inherited the bar, NOT when she was in the hospital telling the stories. These stories take place over at least a decade (again, I feel like it has been two decades). Third, she doesn't say that she forgot she has a child 🤦‍♀️, she says she hadn't mentioned him to us yet. He is only in elementary school (he could be as young as five years old; I get the feeling that he is around seven). 💚💜💚
