Yo! I ran this on mine and it shot a check engine light the next day. Did you have any trouble when installing it or notice anything funny? The only thing I could think of was that the connection that leads under the unfiltered intake area would not fit snug into the mst intake spot(the hole facing towards the front, not going to the exhaust turbocharged). Unless I would have to do some programming/tuning?

@@saysumnkeenvn I probably won’t be able to get to it until next month honestly. About to do coilovers and wheels this weekend. Hitting the oil housing gasket along with an aftermarket performance cooling hose the next weekend. The homies have the proper software to tune such, but if all else fails, I’ll take it to the performance shop down the street and have them tackle it down!

Got a 528i myself, did it improve performance and do you know if it voids warranty if I install it?

Yea it did improve performance! The cool noises are awesome, but the rush of air in the larger intake, it definitely adds a modest 10-15HP. It might void a warranty. Before any repairs, I recommend reinstalling your old air intake, and act like nothing happened😂 The air intake will not be what caused whatever damage you want repaired. I can guarantee that.
