Really interesting story, Reid! I enjoyed this video. Not to get ahead of things, but I think it'd be really interesting to learn about your own experience directing -- and I bet that video would get a good deal of views too, especially from film students and those interested in learning more about what directing a movie is like.

Hi Peter, I will definitely talk about my first movie at some point. Thomas Jay Ryan (star of Hal Hartley's HENRY FOOL) and the late Adrienne Shelly (writer/director of WAITRESS) starred in it, and there are many good stories. Plus a rubber frog named Tiger. 😀

Thank you so much! These are great, and I love how aware you are of interpersonal dynamics. This is history that you are getting on film for generations to come!

Thank you, Douglas. I'm still figuring out what these are going to be. This time I let myself go into areas that are a bit painful for me. I never know exactly what will happen when I start talking. But I do want the videos to get into mistakes I've made and things that don't make me look good. It can't be "look at all these celebrities I've met and what a great job I did!" Life isn't like that.

@@ReidRosefelt That is very brave and commendable, and in the end, makes your stories more powerful because of your truthful observations. Cheers!

What a great channel. Thanks. My wife and I love the 3 Godfather films. And am a huge Sofia Coppola films fan. Reid, if you could talk about Soffia s cinema would be awesome.

Thanks, Sefer. My videos are memoirs, so I don't do videos about somebody I never had a working relationship or a friendship with. I like her films too, but I don't know her.
