I appreciate that he addressed the issue that nowadays, even youngsters who need to be more rational are falling for such traps these companies lay. But, at the same time he has no problem to show an astrologer who is saying the same bullshit that, predictions made through astrology does have some logic and science behind it which is not the case and is completely nonsense. I don't hate him infact, I do watch his case study videos but, I also believe that, it is a high time for our influential figures to come up and spread the word that you can not be religious and rational at the same time. Following your customs and tradition is different thing but, the problem arises when you start believing with a 100% surety that religion is what governs universe and not science. I know, it is harsh to believe that the believes which you and your forefathers have had for millennias is a complete nonsense and far for reality of how universe works and that the fundamentals of your religion is not much different from its counterparts (iykyk). See, I am not against our customs and traditions. Infact, I believe that we have one of most vibrant one and chatth puja is my favourite. But believing that the rules and norms which my religion poses is the ultimate truth is where the problem lies. People (including myself) believed in these apps after watching so many ads, and so I followed everything they said to clear some exam, which was sometimes not related, like wearing certain colour clothes. So, the reason I started believing in Astrology because rather than having a random day to.begin with I'd have something to look forward to my day which makes it a little interesting and in daily horoscopes they usually tell 80% good stuff and 20% not so good. But after sometime it started feeling like how can it be? can I be that predictable? Am I not unique? So, I actually took a step back and read all the horoscopes for all zodiac signs, and guess what? they're all the same... following the principals of psychology to lure people. Due to Confirmation Bias ( trying to believe in something while ignoring contradictory evidences ) people fall for it.
