Listened to this song so many times in college. Shared it with many, pointing to the goodness of the vibe. Many of my friends were awakened to this goodness through this song and many others. Bless.

One of early through I was introduced to reggae in the early 80s (prior to this period I had only jimmy Cliff & Bob Marley in my notebook). What a spiritually engaging artist Ijahman is!! A true legend!!

I discovered him in 1978 and almost lost my mind with the Haile Hymn.Album. I have been a major fan since then. But I Do with him and his wife . Was the epitome for me. He was sooo handsome.then. But we all have to get old. I wish i could find a poster or something with his picture then. I have been searching everywhere to add to my Bob Marley stuff

@@militantepunk2343, all religions including Christianity are fake. Jesus was a mortal man like you and me who died and never rose as claimed by the Christian faith. His life was later exaggerated by writers. So, Rastafari has also chosen to glorify and exalt Haile Selassie as their savior the same way Christians have done with the very human Jesus. The solution is just to respect any other person's religion and spirituality. Learn to co-exist with other people of different religious or political creed from yours and the world will be a safer place for everyone.

Big classic gospel tune.. but Ijahman turns the words into his rasta conviction will. It won't hide the universal truth about Jesus. Haile Selassie himself was a believing christian in Jesus. He is not Jesus. Any Prophecy substituting selassie to Jesus is not a dinvine inspiration. May God enlighten our rasta brothers in Jesus ; the only one saviour's Name. Love an respect to you Levy Ijahman
