Surprisingly not, he actually uses pre existing files to compact a custom texture onto the skin instead of replacing it all together. You can see this in action at 8:17 when the custom texture isn’t loaded in yet and you can see wild card’s face, the textures still there but there’s a custom texture over it

Mr Nightkat that isn’t true... with a custom pak file, any custom textures will reload, into a lower res og texture from a distance. None of this is real, and you cannot “use the games files” to make customs skins that people will see. In order for that, there files would have to be modified aswell.
