I think my favorite contraption was Hypnos' ender pearl cannon. I can't imagine how much trial and error went into making that. Not only did they have to get it to be able to hit a block that they choose, but also, they went and did that 18 more times, and made a way for you to choose which one to go to. And they did it in survival.

That binary stuff from prototech is crazy. I remember seeing people mess with game code like that in other games too. One example is a guy in a "speedrunning supermario bros" video where he does random actions with the character until it teleports him to the other worlds or levels.

the specific technique here is called 'fallinglbock' but given it's immense complexity, I'd suggest looking into something like obtaining bedrock in 1.12 (xcom6000 uploaded a good explanation of it) if you're interested

@@dhruvamalik1959 a few of these servers have worlds downloads, but usually these are Patreon exclusives for whoever is running the server, and server downloads for service like this are massive. Your PC will struggle unless you have an absolute monster of a machine. Instead, I'd recommend looking at server tours on KZbin for each of these servers.

Those servers are another level of insane. All I have is a single player world with a manual sugarcane farm that is unreasonably large, but then again I don't spend 1000s of hours in game trying to break it so hard that I can be a god. I got creative mode and cheats for that which give better results with a lot less time investment.

@@WordleStrat basically we combine 2 blockstate (a blockstate is like : a piston has a bunch it can be powered facing down, powered facing up, unpowered facing east...) into 1. Exemple (this isn't true numbers) : Let's say you want a command block, command block bits will be 0101 1011 (again its not true its only to explain) you want to merge water and anvil because water is let's say 0101 0010 and anvil is 1001 1011 if you get the first 4 from the water and the last 4 from the anvil you get the command block bits. This is over simplification and false numbers but that's the idea, if you want more info watch Myren Eario falling block videos :)
