i played star wars rp a long time ago and honestly yea from what ive seen it has NOT changed you stand around and wait for a shitty event that probably lags the hell out of the game and thats kind of it try and do anything interesting and everyone freaks out

@@Syphonfllter it really depends on the timezone, during the day it can be active af with a lot going on. We cant help trolls tend to show up at around the time activity slows down when people are getting off for bed or something. Things dont stay active af 24/7

Fun fact, all commanders/staff on that server are expected to be logged on as long as possible. This means even leaving the game on overnight. Also its worth mentioning the Owner knows the events are terrible (And also the exact same thing everytime) and refuses to play in them.

Yeah, its an actual hell to be commander there, however I will fix one thing, Commander werent made to be on, they were "suggested" to be on, however high ranking staff / gm were forced to be, that or demotion ( I know from experience ) and yeah the events on that server went down the drain, cant join anymore as the owner perma-banned me after I was forced to leave the internet but I can tell they have

Never personally been on this server, but I have played SWRP a few times and can say it has extraoridnarily degraded in quality since it's inception; It used to be a lot more chill and layed back. But now most owners are narcisitic, greedy, power hungry neck beards who basically take money from people while putting in as little effort as possible. Then they pay developers (using their boat load of money made from donations) to make the game "better", in order to keep the mindless zombies playing. I remember when RP in this game used to actually mean something, and it wasn't just sitting around half the time waiting for an event. I remember when the events weren't just another day at work for the GM's (Game Masters), I remember when the event's had GM's who put REAL effort into it, and impressed a lot of people. I remember when passive RP, player made events and trainings were common. When the community was bussling with talk, fun and making new friends. Now it's just souless servers where hopeless Gmod addicts go to waste their life away, paying ridiculouse ammounts of money to the server owners for a gun or two. But that's just my opinion, from my personal experiences on Gmod. I have stopped playing since then, as it was only becoming a burdon on my mental health to slave away on a Gmod RP. I hope these RP's get revived, by someone who cares, because these RP's were a part of my childhood. It's a shame to see such potential go to waste. R.I.P. Gmod RP

@@Deimos001 yea the map is decently sized. Most people hang out around the base mostly, outside of some doing trainings, mining, casino and other stuff. During events though it’s really noticeable. Also we are swapping maps after Christmas to the venator

@@flixytip4571 it would make more sense a smaller map with that size and when the need arises make addictions to it as needed, having too much space for few players ain't gonna look great. Sure it might look attractive but it's the interactions that will hold the player.

For a RP server they really do not do a lot of RP. Someone trespasses in an area and they just get admin teleported to an OOC jail. No, "Oh, someone is here! We can turn this into RP! Did he just get lost? Are we being attacked? Is he *gasp* a spy?" I mean the video creator isn't there to RP but you don't know that initially. You'd think you'd see at least someone make an attempt to RP before they realized he's not there in good faith.

yooo, just now noticed, this is SGN, i used to be both a high ranking fleet on the server, and one of the mods, lil backstory on the owner reaper, he would simp for any female even freshly 18 girls and give them some of the higher tier'd packs (yes i was one of them) there was good admins on there like artemis that he fucked over, and he also stalked my steam profile because while helping a friend setup their own server he had sent me a message on discord, then proceeded to ban me and that friend from the server for as he put it "Poaching" i did steal one of his extremely rare and expensive knives from him and gave it to someone though, big win there, side comment: he'd brag about how much money the server made for him and always said things which i'll paraphrase because terrible memory and this was back in like - 08/08/2022, but he would say he's able to joke on the LGBT community because he's bi, never made sense to me truly

@@Psycho-mc9wv Yeah... it really went downhill from what I heard, weirdly enough the person I heard it from was Blackcat ( Event Director ), she had left SGN and I found her on another server, apparently they had banned a lot of people, PJ, Melkor, a lot of people for playing SWTOR, I am glad I got off there when I did, never heard about y'alls bans but it makes sense when you find out all the stuff reaper does behind the scenes
