A day full of planting corn! Or… Trying to! See what happens when you try to follow out the strips exactly how the other tractor did it… with a 1230 Case IH Early Riser Mounted Planter!! Always learning something new on the farm and couldn’t be yet more thankful❤️ Each day gives me a new chance at expanding my horizons of doing what I love! Farming with my dad! ❤️

Something unexpected always breaks down. I remember one time my uncle was cutting hay with the sickle bar mower, I was 2 rounds behind him with the hay crimper. All of a sudden, I looked to my left and crimper wheel passed me up. It turns out the axel broke off the crimper. Have a great day!

I like hearing about others’ stories! :) I hope everyone remained safe through that all! Wild times can happen in the field any time of the year that’s forsure! Thanks lots for watching! :)

Hi. Kel. You didn't do anything wrong It's the design of it , to much stress on them u bolts Possibly the nuts came lose and gave it more room to flex Just keep your eye on them You're doing great girl ❤

Hi! Thanks so much! :) Appreciate your kind words and support! :) The design of it is indeed putting lots of strain on there and it gets to be very fragile at times lol Thanks so much for watching! :) Hope you’re having an excellent day!

Kels, that's good to hear the season has been starting so greatly. Well, we had some rains ovet here as well. It's been either too hot or too much moisture over here in Finland. 🇫🇮✨

Hi Kels, unfortunate breakdowns happen I would consider a pull type planter maybe that wouldn’t be good for following those strips accurately, I think Zack up there north of you does that with the big 24 row I’m not sure though I know he has a lot of tech with the GPS on the planter, do what you do is best for your operation it’s working nice video Kels👍!!

Hi! Yes always got to be ready for those moments to happen because it will! Hehe :) Love the learning process that arises from all the breakdowns though! :) Oh awesome to hear that! I’m unaware if he does! We got a pull type planter this year and will share some videos of testing that out on my channel soon within the next couple weeks! Using it for beans so far, but would love to try it in corn following the strips to witness the differences! :) Thanks lots for watching! Appreciate it! Hope your day is going great!

I think that tractor would pick that planter up if you had a three point hookup on it you need a little more weight on the front hope everything is going good we got corn knee high already I need to get spraying

Most of the time works great, but definitely has its hiccups when it comes to being so fragile and putting strain on them back tires! Thanks lots for watching! :) Happy to hear you have knee high corn that’s awesome! I hope your spraying has been off to a successful start! :)
