Yes, Blake Lively, male actors are asked about their costumes as well, you see. This interview went so well. Never did Jonny Depp, become dismissive and was never disrespectful toward the interviewer. Blake Lively, please, take notes.

I love your interviews! So delighted to come across your channel today. Your interviews are so natural and enjoyable to watch, like a conversation instead of gushing and silly questions that promotion interviews usually are. Your interview with Johnny Depp for Transcendence is one of my favorites because it’s so personal and relaxed. I’ve rewatched it many times. The premiere of Black Mass was a horrific time for him. He medicated himself with alcohol, and unlike us “regular” people who can hide it, his job put it all on public, worldwide display. I’m so happy he survived and is now thriving. ❤

Johnny is such an inspiration. Not only as a person, and how gentle, creative and genuine he is, but also as an abuse survivor and how strong he have been throughout, specially since he finally got away from his abuser. How he has handled it after is truly inspirational. I am so happy he got away from her still being alive, cause I think her plans was that he wouldn't. His mind and how he thinks and express himself is truly genius. His just a wonderful soul.

It’s very cool to hear that you’ve had such great interactions with Depp… I’m strangely enough only one degree of separation from him through multiple people lol. I’ve heard stories about him and his quite normal life in France with Vanessa, Amber, the divorce, etc and no one ever had anything bad to say about him. Even when he was having his substance abuse issues, he still had a HUGE number of people that knew him WELL and believed him throughout his more tumultuous years. It’s nice to know that he seems to leave the same impression on anyone he meets, which is that he really is generally a very quiet, sensitive soul that was lost for a time, but he had built such a large support network because of his authenticity that he was able to pull through. Lovely video!

Dorothy from the Wizars if Oz or Didi from the Long Red Herring. Its the part I'm playing, not me. No, I'm not famous. But it always confuse my friends and family that I was so shy, that I would take an F in school rather than give a speech, but I got on stage any chance I got.😊

Johnny is an amazing man. He’s been through so much abuse by people close to him. His ex wife admitted to abusing him. I heard the recordings. I’m glad she’s gone out of Hollywood. He’s said to have ADHD which I also have. It can affect moods and it can also cause anxiety and depression. We use a spoon theory. A spoon represents each task in your day to day life. Just from listening to this video, it occurred to me that many dramatic actors are often very shy. I think this is why acting is an outlet for them to be what they find hard to express in real life. Not all obviously. The other thing is regards certain 'heavy dark' characters that some actors portray in movies. How do they research these in a way that doesn't possibly drive them to drink. I guess it may be why many actors..if not all, have a therapist? I guess some just want to act for the love of it and stuff the rest. The fame gets in the way so to speak. Tack Kjersti!

You're way of remembering questions and follow up questions is great. I'll try to do that. I used the Memory Palace method in a lesson I once taught. I had everyone link items on a shopping list to places they pass on their way to school. I had them describe their walk as they encountered the shopping items. Though it was years ago, I still remember (most) items and their order on my own list.

Great memory technique insights! A language teacher once told me to touch the object you are learning the word for (if you can), such as chair. Johnny Depp seems like a very deep, sensitive man. I never believed those allegations from the beginning. Probably his shyness and yours make you better at your jobs, as shy people are often keen observers and listeners. One ‘criticism’ though, I wanted to see the dream catcher. Haha.

Of course, I had my bad days waiting tables, but I never toke took my anger/frustration to my customers. I left my problems outside and kept professional. Dolph Lundgren is a cool guy! We bumped into him a few years ago and he was super nice while I was so star struck, being a huge fan of Rocky and to me he is He-Man 😊

Love Johnny Depp, love watching you and seeing you flourish after the whole Blake thing, but the thing that got me about this video was…how tall are you?!!! In the picture with you and Dolph, you look almost as tall as him!😂

The memory technique that you describe is a mnemonic device called the method of loci, or memory palace technique. It's a well-known way to memorize a lot of information. I even use it to memorize mundane things like my grocery list. Unfortunately it doesn't help me with names because I'm faceblind and can't recognize people anyway. 😂 I think your use case is really interesting. It's a great idea to use it for remembering interview questions! Thanks for sharing that with us.

Yes...he knows how to be very charming and calm, he is an incredible actor after all. But also I do believe that he can be extremely different behind closed doors. How many celebrities were worshipped until we found out the truth. It's shocking that even after he admitted doing a lot of horrible things people still put him on a pedestal. They both did horrible things and brought out the worst in each other. I do believe some of the things she said about him that were very abusive. I also think she reacted with abuse. Both were wrong and triggered each other.

@@Gullvivas what a clueless comment. I know my dad closely as well, but I don't know what he is like with my mom when I'm not in the room. But my mom does. A person can be different with different people, especially on drugs or alcohol. And he admitted to doing terrible things as well, so. Both are wrong and brought the worst in each other.

Very few people could be as patient as he was after being goaded for hours by someone. If you believe his ex, just listen to those full tapes and you’ll change your mind. Not saying he never once lost his temper, but he is not the person she wanted us to believe he is.

I've watched the trial, listened to those tapes etc. Some people say he's not saint - for me he is, I know I would not be able to control myself if I were on his place. That woman is batshit crazy!

@@eriope I don’t think I could either, and I’m a fairly patient person. The media covered this so dishonesty, and I guess that’s the reason I still feel the need to defend him. So many people saw only what the media wanted them to see. A person’s reputation is invaluable, and she took that from him.

I watched all of the trail, listened to the tapes and looked at evidence not used in the trial and I feel for JD. He showed a lot of patience. He was clearly targeted by her and when he stopped giving her everything she wanted out of love for who he thought she was, she and her parasite friends decided to take him down. One thing about growing up as he did- he's been through more than anyone will ever know and he has a solid backbone.

Yes. Because losing your temper does not equate to being abusive. And I don't believe there is 1 human on this planet who has NOT lost their temper. His story hits close to home.

What he did to amber heard you say?? It’s actually the other way around. She made her bed with the abuse she inflicted on JD and others and the lies she told. Now she can lie in the bed she made! No respect or mercy for the abusing fraudster. Before I knew all the facts that came from the courts I am ashamed to say I believed her. I’m not a fan of JD but just someone who was abused and saw my abuser in AH’s behaviour.
