I love your interviews! So delighted to come across your channel today. Your interviews are so natural and enjoyable to watch, like a conversation instead of gushing and silly questions that promotion interviews usually are. Your interview with Johnny Depp for Transcendence is one of my favorites because it’s so personal and relaxed. I’ve rewatched it many times. The premiere of Black Mass was a horrific time for him. He medicated himself with alcohol, and unlike us “regular” people who can hide it, his job put it all on public, worldwide display. I’m so happy he survived and is now thriving. ❤

It’s very cool to hear that you’ve had such great interactions with Depp… I’m strangely enough only one degree of separation from him through multiple people lol. I’ve heard stories about him and his quite normal life in France with Vanessa, Amber, the divorce, etc and no one ever had anything bad to say about him. Even when he was having his substance abuse issues, he still had a HUGE number of people that knew him WELL and believed him throughout his more tumultuous years. It’s nice to know that he seems to leave the same impression on anyone he meets, which is that he really is generally a very quiet, sensitive soul that was lost for a time, but he had built such a large support network because of his authenticity that he was able to pull through. Lovely video!

Just from listening to this video, it occurred to me that many dramatic actors are often very shy. I think this is why acting is an outlet for them to be what they find hard to express in real life. Not all obviously. The other thing is regards certain 'heavy dark' characters that some actors portray in movies. How do they research these in a way that doesn't possibly drive them to drink. I guess it may be why many actors..if not all, have a therapist? I guess some just want to act for the love of it and stuff the rest. The fame gets in the way so to speak. Tack Kjersti!

You're way of remembering questions and follow up questions is great. I'll try to do that. I used the Memory Palace method in a lesson I once taught. Yes. Because losing your temper does not equate to being abusive. And I don't believe there is 1 human on this planet who has NOT lost their temper. His story hits close to home.

I’m a huge fan of Dolph Lungren and I often quote the line from Rocky IV where his character said “I fight for myself and not Russia.” Good luck with his documentary. If Dolph gets his project on Amazon Prime he’ll get lots of views.

What he did to amber heard you say?? It’s actually the other way around. She made her bed with the abuse she inflicted on JD and others and the lies she told. Now she can lie in the bed she made! No respect or mercy for the abusing fraudster. Before I knew all the facts that came from the courts I am ashamed to say I believed her. I’m not a fan of JD but just someone who was abused and saw my abuser in AH’s behaviour.

Your memory trick about placing questions on the persons face is brilliant!!! I’m going to start using this for questions before my dr’s appointments, so I don’t forget the important things I need to say or ask! 🙏🙌🏼

On UK iconic crime series "Vera", the brilliant actress playing tough detecrive "found" her character in a pair of old, worn out men's boots.
