Before he started to form Stray Kids, Chan was known and seen as the maknae/youngest of the JYPE trainees, I think that's why he tends to be very cute (ngalem/sedikit2 manja) with the older members of Twice, with Young K, with Peniel of BtoB, even with Bambam. Because before he had to be the leader of Stray Kids, he was everyone's maknae

chan is mainly friends with 3rd gen idols since he grew up with many of them peniel (btob) is his bsf tho and they recently went on holiday to japan together he's also really close with bambam (got7) and youngk (day 6) since they were room/dorm mates for years predebut and chan was supposed to debut in got7 he is also friends with lisa (blackpink) and i'm pretty sure he even introduced her to his sister hannah when lisa was performing in australia obviously he's friend with twice too since they trained together also: changbin is besties with wooyoung, yeonjun and chaeryeong too haha him wooyoung and yeonjun are the most chaotic trio ever and he and chaer are basically siblings especially since they grew up as neighbours predebut many idols are friends with the other idols born in their year which i think is adorable eg, i.n is in the '01 liner club that they call 'EE-Z' with beomgyu (txt), heeseung (enhypen) and jimin (justb), they even used to have sleepovers predebut haha

Chan is a trainee for 7 years and knows a lot of JYP trainees as well he is actually close to Twice, Got7 BamBam and Day6 Young K. He mentioned before that during his time he sees all of his friends either getting eliminated or debuting without him, it was a sad time for him. He probably just talks to all of them casually and with no honorifics but in front of cam because it is a big deal for some he is using honorifics just to be polite which is why it was so awkward. Also to answer your question Channie’s room is a weekly thing every sunday, he is either alone or have the other members with him sometimes. It is actually sad that he had to stop it for some reasons that even us Stays are really not sure of but there was a vid months ago circulating where he said he can’t do Channie’s room anymore. We are still hoping for it to be allowed to come back again😔.

This was the best reaction to this video! I want people to make more compilations just so i can watch your reaction 😂❤. He had a few more sana interactions and with twice as a group. He also reacted to the melody projects of the younger members of twice (chaeyoung/dahyun/tzuyu) and he was clearly having trouble referring to them as his respected sunbaes😂. He is more like the normal bangchan with them, especially tzuyu. They did a taylor swift cover together and in his reaction he was saying how proud he was and how weird he felt to see her all grown up. He was acting like hes decades older than her😂

The food thing that people are talking about--- Twice wanted pork belly but they were not supposed to have it. (Idol diets are BS to me because they burn so many calories that they should be allowed to eat what makes them happy.) Bang Chan gave all his JYP cafeteria vouchers to them. They pretty much ate all of the pork belly. Later, he was called into the office about the massive amount of pork belly being eaten and Bang Chan just acted like it was him that did it. It wasn't until much later that one of the Twice members told about it. Then, when some of SKZ was on a show, the host had them call Bang Chan to ask about it and he confirmed it. The members didn't even know that he had done that. He's good at keeping secrets.😂

You asked about the 1st live we saw. Skz had a live just before God's Menu came out. All the members were there at one point. Chan, Changbin and Han were actually waiting for YoungK to make a guest appearance when Sana showed up, that's why they had the earbuds ready to go. Skz and Twice are really close, especially Chan with all of them, and Felix with Nayeon. Chan pretty much grew up with the Twice members, and they consider him their baby brother. Chan is fluent in Japanese (he and Minho are the most fluent members) and was actually taught by the J-line of Twice (Sana, Momo and Mina).

Lmaoo when youngk appeared I burst out laughing because i remember chan once saying in an interview that one of the first ppl he called after learning he would debut was YoungK. Chan, funnily enough, would be a baby among many of his friends from JYP cos most of his friends debuted much earlier than him and cos of his long training period. This vid didn’t show it, but in the survival show for SKZ, Chan actually met Twice, and we saw their close joking nature, with Sana teasing him for being strict with the members! Jihyo and Chan are the same age, and Jihyo is also good friends w BamBam, so I’m gonna guess that these 3 were probably close as trainees asw.

Chan joined JYPE when he was very young (13\14) and was the maknae to alot of the JYPE artists (and some of those that left JYPE) The staff said he used to make them sad, because he was so young and on his own. I think it was YoungK he mentioned sticking him in a washing basket (either for hide-and-seek, or to tease him) and he is always moaning at Chan for calling him Brian instead of YoungK. He and BamBam would have debuted together, but BamBam was sent to fill out the team for the YG\JYPE battle, and that eventually became GOT7. Sana used to buy snacks for Chan, and walk him home to make sure he was okay. He returned the favour by giving them his meal card when theirs was suspended because of a diet. There was something on the menu they really wanted, so he gave them his card. Then had to please explain the extra portions he 'ate' He never gave them up though, just apologised and said he would do better 😁 Chan is actually pretty fluent in Japanese. He and Han learned to speak Japanese from the TWICE members, and picked up their dialect. Han speaks quite fluently, but struggles with the reading

You could be right but as a youngest sibling with brothers and sisters who are way older, it made sense to me that he would act like that around his elders in public or a more formal situation. It's like when you're the baby of the family but also an adult in your own right and it's difficult to reconcile the two if you aren't used to acting as the "leader" or "boss" in front of your elder sibs. You know you'll get teased later for acting so grown up so it feels awkward.

You must be a new Stay, Skz Bang Chan actually helped some of the twice members a lot during the trainee days. He's close to pretty much every trainee that trained with JYP and debuted in a different company. I strongly recommend watching the Pre Debut show Stray Kids 2017. You'll know more about the members and what made Stray kids so cohesive.
