I have to say as a kirby main, one of my absolute favorite inhale moves is greninja's water shuriken. It's one of the few moves that gives kirby another mobility option. It gives him so much more lift than it does greninja and I dont know why.

It's on the slower side (active starting frame 8), is very laggy if not activated (inherent for MOST counters), and the hitbox kinda sucks (it misses things above or below him along with just barely matching the horizontal swing animation). Even if its damage multiplier is pretty good (x1.35), it's really only usable in edgeguards (which can still be inconsistent due to the aforementioned range).

It's the same reason top players don't airdodge that much, it's effectively the same thing when you're in disadvantage. If your opponent is juggling you, they're gonna wait for you to pick options and react, and counter is no exception. Counter is good for edgeguarding, or punishing drop down aerials while ledgetrapping.
