I typically run 2 jigs leading to a swivel and then a trolling sinker with 12-18" of flouro to my sumo spoons.. Catch plenty of triples on skippies and whitebass
@hoodbillyjohn95893 жыл бұрын
Maybe carry some split shots , then could clamp them on in a quick second when casting , then unclamp them to quickly go back to trolling !!! That would eliminate re-tie… just a suggestion… Thanks Justin for the vid an safe an fun fishing looking forward to the next cat trip!!

There’s a pond near me that in 2015 when we had epic flooding and lake Lewisville was over the spillway it was actually connected to the lake and that ended up putting shad in the pond and that pond now has had shad spawn in it year after year for the last 6 years and it has more shad than anywhere else in the world. You can throw a 4’ cast net and each throw catch between 5-200 shad lol. A bad toss gets you at least 5. If you hit a school you’ve got bait for life lol.

It maybe different where you're at but when i go to Kentucky Lake i always take 1 morning and go for white bass. When i do i take a medium size rod and reel with a good ole Beetle spin or other baits that size and just go up the edge of the channel and when you get into them 1 pole with keep you so busy you won't have time to drink your coffee or scratch your butt. LOL

Slowly but surely I watch your subs increase faster and faster and after seeing you been at this KZbin page for a few years and get to do it for a living now (dream job one day for me too) I’m so dang happy for ya bro! Only been a fan the past 4-5 months when I found your page but I watch every single video happily! Idk why others don’t like the skipjack or bait fishing near as much as just catfish but I watch for enjoyment and to learn and bait comes first! If ya ain’t got bait you not Gunna catch trophy catfish! So I highly enjoy learning how to catch bait just as much! Specifically skipjack for sure! We get them at our camp south Bama in Tom bigbee river but idk if it’s only certain times of year that low down the river systems and I need to find out now

Hey you should get a DJI Osmo action camera. It’s HALF the price of a GoPro. I switched from GoPro to DJI because GoPros overheat and glitch too much. Living in Texas means that from April to November any time i go fishing and it’s sunny outside my GoPro has a good chance of overheating and not catching anything on camera. Ever since I started using the DJI Osmo action it has never overheated. Just saved you 200$ :) you can thank me later.

So... looking at getting a kayak like your's or similar. Problem is, "item is currently unavailable" on Amazon. Also, the fish finder is unavailable. With that being said, could we MAYBE get a video talking about your kayak fishing setup. Maybe there is one already I haven't seen. But talk us through what it takes to fish from a kayak. Is the fish finder small battery powered? Rechargeable? Or takes like a car battery? And other info you can suggest would be great, thanks. -Tim from East Tennessee-
