Repeated mistakes aren't actually mistakes, they are habits. As I stated on BIL video, the 1s just isn't your forte, since you seem to play very timid when you are in highly competitive games. When you play against your boys, you play freely, you utilize the space on the court, you use misdirection more often and you create way more separation with the dribbles. You get in these games and is as if you start to overthink, over analyze everything, instead of taking what the defense gives you. Kam wasn't even playing physical, yet you continued to settle for jumpers that were not falling. Then you wait until the game is almost over, to be aggressive and attack. By that point, Kam already had it going offensively, which made the game a foregone conclusion. You have to go back to the drawing board to develop better techniques and habits for the 1s. You are starting to sound like Will Tunein in these videos, talking about what you could've done, instead of doing it.

Tbh B, one thing ive noticed about you ever since i been tuned in to your channel(been months now) is that your passion for the game speaks and its very inspiring because it shows that u love the game of BB, like every time u get a win or get a tough bucket you are full of enthusiasm and passion. With that being said, I feel like when you playing so seriously and focused on " playing a good game " thats where it can get wobbly I feel like, cause yeah its good to have that intention but I feel like if u haven’t already u should adopt that mindset of playing to have fun, basketball is meant to be fun so have fun and dont take it too seriously and in doing so i feel like you just play more freely without the guilt of bad plays or moves. Also remember who you are and what you type of reps you be doing and remember what moves u got in ya arsenal. Also true, most of the times actually 99% of the times us humans we b in our own way. We just gotta get out of our own way sometimes and we know how to so lets go ahead and do so so we can improve and elevate to the next level. You gotta go thru the pain, losses, & struggles b4 you can succeed. That's with anything in life fam. No his 1v1's ain been the best but let's not act like b isn't atleast goin out & actually stepping out & competing outside of his comfort. I guarantee you, the more he plays these type of 1's the closer he'll get to being better & pulling out W's in 1's.. ion know if u a fan or supporter of bruh but in all b ellis 1's.. he hasn't given up, he puts up a good fight & he does it all the way to the end. Bruh is competing & stepping out his comfort zone which in fact is what YOU FANS WANTED HIM TO DO! lol tf 😭 now all he get is hate cause he got losses under his belt.. which can be turned around when he develops his understanding of his 1v1 game. Main issues I’m seeing: 1) you re off balanced on a lot of shots, your feet are in weird spots when you raise up 2) your jumper form is very limiting, great for set shots and straight away but hard for anything else 3) please retire that hook shot, it’s a crutch and you fooled yourself into thinking it’s a great shot. It’s just an excuse to not develop the rest of your game 4) you don’t use change of pace and have inefficient jab steps

B. Elis started off by saying he’s not going to make any excuses, then proceeded to make every excuse in the book. I hate when people say it’s all on when they lose, no if it was all on you then you would be out there shooting with nobody in front of you. Kam is a bad matchup for him. He didn’t want to press Kam earlier, because he was scared that Kam would beat him off the dribble which he did. B. Elis on here complaining about the hand checks, but if he couldn’t touch Kam, and had to rely on his foot speed Kam would beat him easily. B Elis is slow footed that’s why he has to rely on so many counters. Stop making excuses Kam is just that much better than you!
@FlyGuySae

This is facts. He’s a good player and a really good commentator but he’s not honest with himself.. example being when he lost to WillTuneIn he made excuses how he let will come back, but then when he got his revenge after going down big in the second game, he said it was a walk down and not the same for Will.. he’s just not as good as the better players especially on Next Chapter. Again, he’s a good player no hate but he’s gotta stop the excuses. It’s corny.

@@blamoanimations4593 it’s not working, because he lost to every Friga fam player that he faced. He’ll never admit that these players are simply better than him. If he doesn’t do anything to correct his so called mistakes(which he doesn’t) then he’s just making excuses. He said it himself in this video that he keeps making the same mistakes over and over. If he’s doing the same things over and over that mean that’s just how he plays. He’s just too slow footed to play the way he wants to play. I would love to hear you speak more on this and Give guys tips and tricks on how to combat that mental adversity as you began to overcome it yourself in game situations. a lot of times in bball the mental is the biggest part of the game and it’s the thing that people struggle with is really not the physical aspect of the game.

Stick to reacting to videos..1's ain't it for you just being honest...oh and 1v1 is real basketball. I seen a reel your caption was something pertaining to 1v1's aren't real basketball compared to 5v5. You just need help at the end of the day 🤷🏾‍♂️😂😂😂

Aye Brother Ellis, you know what you're here for. Game aside, you aint new to adversity. Nobody likes to lose, especially for public display, but it's all part of the journey. "Every good cake has salt and sugar." Or whatever Beas said😂 keep cooking brody. This just means once you gain the experience, you got a few ppl to spin back on. #UnfinishedBusiness #NeverBeDefeated

B Elise I hope you see this comment I see a lot of people play there ass of with sweet blood and tears I just hope you have that break through we’re we can see that I need you to give a 1,000% every time you get on that court for yourself yes failure helps learn from your mistakes but when on that court failure is not a option that should be your mentality.

There were a couple of possessions where you were aggressive off the catch. That’s when you made him think. A lot of times you were sitting too long in your triple threat

You have access to a gym anytime you want practice on game situations that’ll help you in these 1s bro…..one two dribble pullup shots etc, do that 10x more than you do all the handle shut you show us. You too shifty and crafty for it to not work in ones bro make the game simple for yourself…..Love 🫡

ayy b i noticed when you get in your bag you are tough and harder to guard but when you keep it too simple there stop you from scoring keeping your confidents high and play to kill

Aye B not saying losing these ones is a good thing but I remember in one of your previous videos you said that this is the year of rematches, just a thought it would be a great storyline/concept if you rematched Jlew and Nathan and beat them by using what you’ve learned from these last few 1v1s as far as being physical and using more counters. Almost like a “redemption arc” as dev would say but learning from your past mistakes and getting some get back on some of the opponents from older 1v1s would be a great storyline. Just a thought

understand you disappointed in your results. but all those mistakes i believe would overcome with playing more 1s. you clearly a tough player, just more used to the team setting. you have the tools to be elite in the 1s for sure

You said it in the video but the open looks you had off the jab that didn’t fall were the difference imo. Feel like you contested most shots well on defense too but definitely have to meet guys at the line to make them think after the first 1/2 dribbles.
